I would definitely call this fake. The Paul is the biggest give away. Way wrong. The rest are all a little too perfect. You can tell the marker strokes were all from the same person. Plus, Gene hasn't signed an autograph that perfect in over 20 years (other than in a sit down session for early copies of his second book).

If it was real it would certainly be pre reunion since Ace was drawing the ace of spades card on all of his signatures by 1995 and stopped all the looping by the late 90's. But the Paul is just way off. Over all, these are very good forges, but his is not saying much as Kiss is probably the most forged music signatures ever, because their signatures are so well known and are mostly easy to forge.

I would suggest to anyone to never by Kiss signatures unless it was from a person who bought the VIP $1000 meet and greet package and has the passes to prove it. There are so many Kiss fakes out there it's staggering.

Sorry for the bad news, hope this helped.

I bought 3 of the VIP passes for the last 2 tours it was the best money a KISS fan can spend. They sign a ton of stuff for you and take photos. Plus, you get the official tour photo that is signed by all 4 ( current band members ).

I agree, the Paul signature is pretty bad in my opinion. It's missing some of the structure / looping that is common in Paul's signature ( at least from the examples that I obtained in-person ). The Gene is off as well.

The Ace and Peter signatures don't match the examples from the Kisstory and Psycho Circus signed editions that I have either.

I'm not a KISS expert, but I'm going on the differences I see.

If you can't get to a KISS concert for the VIP experience, you can find the fully signed KISSTORY books for great prices on-line.

Thank you very much for your input.

It´s much appreciated.

I really hoped the autographs to be genuine...I guess I was wrong :(

Here are examples of in-person autographs of Gene, Paul, and Peter (I never got Ace)

This discussion has made me question my Kiss albums. They are the solo LPs that are supposed to be individually signed. I'll upload the pics.

Sorry, but all of those solo albums are glaring fakes. Especially the Paul. But all are definitely NOT authentic.  Kiss is absolutely one of the most forged bands. No question. Not because they have Beatles, Zep, or Stones worth, but because they ARE one of the most popular and known bands on the planet and certainly the most collectable. Plus their signatures are so well known and not difficult to do reasonable fakes. 3 out of the four of these solo albums are reasonable (and having them done in the appropriate color code to each solo album art is a nice touch), but they are still very noticeably fake.

Once again, DO NOT BUY KISS AUTOGRAPHS!!

If you have money to spend on them, then buy the meet and greet package and/or catch Ace and Peter at the signings that they do. Peter charges now too, but does seem to show up on the 'circuit' each year. When it comes to Peter, you're not paying him for his autograph you're paying him to be nice to you. Trust me when I say that. Ace is mostly approachable and accommodating. If you do the Kiss meet and greet, not only will you get Paul and Gene to sign, but you'll get to meet them in full make up! Can't beat that.

sorry this is fake
