My friend in Zurich has this signed Hendrix 45, it's a German pressing of "Purple Haze". He is not an autograph collector and got this sometime in his 40+ years of record collecting. The signature looks ok to me, but as the item has no background info and he doesn't remember, where he got if from, I'd like to hear your opinions. The only time Jimi was in Switzerland was at the Monsterconcert in May 68 - I do have 100% genuine auographs from this visit, and they look somewhat similar but I'd like to read your opinions.

I was looking at Stay Groovy - the letters after "J" should be descending in height, no? That is what stuck out to me. The shape and form of the "imi".

The "stay groovy" signature is "waterproof", but I think you are referencing to the 45-sleeve?

I'm sorry - I meant the signatures at the website "Groovy Handwriting" - yes, I was speaking to the 45.

Groovy Handwriting

Also is the size of the signature on a 45 the unusual?

I think think the size is not unusual in relation to the sleeve, and as it's a 45 it's not a particular large signature.

It appears that when these letters are of the same size there are more of them as in "Jimmy"*early) or they are not cursive. Are the slants correct?
