Ok this is a very beautiful and rare photo from his bahamas holidays in 1969.

As far as I know only few photos are availble from that trip.

It has been discussed here on this Elvis forum also : http://www.elvis-collectors.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=63846

A rare photo and as a bonus signed on the back, if real = a great piece of Elvis history.

But the question is if its real, is it? Printed?

That would make more sense. I couldn't imagine them going to the effort to go to the effort to shoot a copy of the photo without fixing it first.

I really don't like this one Eddie.  There are some things that are just not correct.

This has been floating around for some time now.  The signature is perfect for the era but like stated I can't e sure if it's been printed or not.  It does look like the same one that offered to me about a year ago.

That's the thing. The signature doesn't seem to have any wear or ageing and the photo has a lot of wrinkling. Another thing that worried me was the similarly placed signature on the back of another Polaroid taken at the same time.

But this is why they pay you the big bucks.

I forgot—it wasn't just that the signature looked in too good condition for the photo. It was the transition from the "s" to the "P". Just doesn't remind me of ones I've seen before—no little loop from the s to the P. Could that be because of the Flair pen?

where else would you place the signature at?  also it would only make sense that it was in the same place as it was signed by the same person.

True. He must have signed more than one at that same time that she or others she was with sold.

Its not worth to take risks for this one.

New info about the autographs.

Courtesy of TCB - World and Terry Firman (text was copied and pasted) Elvis was just walking along the beach ALL ON HIS OWN beleive it or not . . on Wednesday 22nd October '69, the last day of his 10 day vacation, when 2 english fans where on the same beach at the same time and couldnt beleive the vision infront of them . . IS THAT ELVIS PRESLEY WALKING ON THE VERY SAME BEACH AS US ? ? and it turned out that it was, so they quickly approached him and took some polaroid photos of Elvis with them on the sand. Elvis had never seen a polaroid camera before and was fascinated by the new product, and no sooner where the photos developed infront of Elvis' eyes on the beach, he was asked to sign them all, of course he did and they exchanged some more friendly chat and went they separate ways . . . hope you enjoyed this little story!

Bump!
