I purchased a framed print that I had autographed. I just put it back in the frame, and I thought I had read where cardboard will fade the autograph over time. The framer used cardboard backing instead of acid free foam board. Do I need to change it out or will it be okay since is just the backing?

Thank you!

Acid-free foam board still isn't safe. How valuable is it?

It isn't real valuable. It was a $50 autograph from one of my favorite Alabama football players. I would like it to last a long time though.
