This was bought from heritage auctions which is a big auction house for memorabillia and has been advertised on this site.

This is a kurt cobain auto that was bought from Christophe stickel who is a uacc registered dealer and member of the manuscript society.

Sorry Alastair, i am pretty certain that both of your nirvana items are fake. They have all the hallmarks. The first image is very bad though. Ive seen a ton of forgeries just like this. And unfortunately just because their a registered dealer doesnt mean anything. Their are many that sell bogus items and the manuscript society membership means even less. Heritage is a good auction company and im surprised they sold that to you. It looks like they just made a really big goof. But it happens, even bad items get through on RR, and the other biggies. I know thats alot to swallow and you arent goin to like it, but i feel very very strongly that they are bogus. If you dont want to take any stock in that its okay, but you should run that item just for kicks by psa or jsa or roger epperson. I think their opinion will give you much more confirmation that you should get your money back. good luck and hope it works out

Thanks for your reply,i was confident about both of them before now but now from What you have said im not.When you buy autographs you Are told to only buy from dealers that have a Good reputation so What else can you do.Heritage auctions have my signed photo and another one signed similar to mine in their auction archive section if you want to have a look.I have seen at least 3 signed similar to mine in rr auction in the past also and thats why i was Happy with them.I will send both of them to psa dna and see what they say,i dont want to dump them until i know for sure they are fake.

It's only my opinion, but I don't like either of Alastair's Nirvana items.
