Hi everyone, I'm new and this is my first post. I've been getting pretty discouraged looking for autographs at a reasonable price on Ebay since I've used the PSA quick opinion service about 10 times and all 10 have come back likely not genuine. Here's the latest item that caught my interest. I figured I'd get some opinions here before I waste another $7.49.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I'm new to the hobby and never thought to ask sellers if it's on computer paper or an actual lab quality photo. That advice really helps.
Well it looks good to me. And its already certed by JSA. PSA and JSA are the two big authentication companies out their and with JSA certing this item im almost positive you will find its real. Their probably is no need to run it through psa at all. PSA and JSA are both equal in my opinion when it comes to authentication. I agree about the photo paper thing but if that doesnt bother you, and for that price, id go for it. I believe its authentic, but it does appear to be on photo paper, so i guess the good with the bad.
I'll probably pass on this one then. She's one of my favorites and I'd like a very high quality autograph. What do I need to look for to determine if an autograph is on cheap computer paper or a lab quality photo? I look at it and can't tell if it's on computer paper or not.
Very useful information! Thanks a lot Mike and trapper, you've both done a good deed and helped a rookie learn something about the hobby.
Sorry but the one you linked is fake. I actually started a Scarlett thread a few days ago, because I bought one that had the characteristics of being authentic - if you find that thread - you'll see an example of one that I believe is real. I haven't received it in the mail yet, but as long as it's not a preprint, I believe it's real. The one you linked however, is definitely not real.
This one looks like it might be real, but if it is, it was signed a long time ago. It sort of resembles her signature style from a pic that I believe mike aring posted in another Scarlett thread from a month or so ago.

Edit - here's a link to the old Scarlett thread - http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/scarlett-johansson-auto The ebay link i posted almost looks like a combination of the signature styles that Mike posted in that thread. I"m not 100% sure it's right after looking at those pics - but maybe some others can chime in.
Here's a picture of the one I bought a few days ago that I believe is real. This is her current signature style. You'll notice how it slants downward (She's a lefty).
I just bought this a minute ago. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370625516893?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_...
Figured getting a super early auto from her might be decently rare - I feel sort of wrong since she's so young in this picture though. I think this is definitely real though
I don't think the JSA one from the original post is real. In fact, I'm fairly certain it's not.
I dont see the jsa stamp on any of those, are they lettered? Or from a mass lot?
The two that Mike posted above are the real deal and they haven't been authenticated by anyone.
