Graysonline Autographs & Signed Items: Looking for Buyers Who May Be Owed Refunds for Buying Forgeries From Them

I am looking to compile a list of people who have purchased Autographs and signed items from the Graysonline auction website in Australia. This is for the purposes, primarily to stop the probable fraud, and for a possible future class action to retrieve all moneys to the victims.

The "vendors" of these auctions carry the certificates from two companies, Coolworld Collectables and Musiclegends collectables.

See attached images of the certificates in question.

For those people that have purchased any items on Ebay from ME, (arry_kewl) I will contact you and refund all monies and postage costs should this fraud be proven. I did not intend to pass on rubbish, and please accept my apologies for my part in this, even though it was not deliberate... I have all contact details saved in my Ebay account.

I will contact Ebay to try to have these certificates added to their banned list.

Rhiannon's a great song, although 'Don't Stop' seems to be the theme of the day for me. I am pretty sure that I have found a photograph of Chris Lancaster on the net. It is at Enigma Communication Newcastle NSW, Does anyone know if this is the guy? or is it a fake?

Frank,

You can post a link to Chris Lancaster. I have no idea what he looks like, though.

Hi Melissa

Chris Lancaster I believe works for a major advertising company in Sydney. He appears to have a long history in copyright, so he should know his stuff. The way I see it is that he has used Fleetwood Mac's logo (which I know to be copyright protected)to advertise the guitar.

I would suggest that anytime you see an ad on Graysonline with anything that looks like a promotion of a product using a band's logo, or have proof that the article is fake a copy should be sent to the band/artists record label's lawyer.

It is their stupidity and greed that will eventually be their undoing.

Cheers

This will be my new mission, Looks like i have a full day ahead of me :) i have lots of ammo on Grays printed but just didn't know what to do with it all; well untill now!! I will have to do some research and find out who is signed to what recording company and so on, By the end of the day hopefully i will have sent enough emails to start getting the artists attention.... First stop The Rolling Stones!!

It seems to me this group is building very fast :) so that is great news for all of us involved, Now when you google fake grays online thier website is not the only thing that shows up... this discussion also does, I wish i had of discovered this website before my purchase though OHHHH well i met some awesome people and found a great website in the process so i cannot at all be sad about that.

Melissa,

Have you see Warner Bros. Fleetwood Mac channel on YouTube? Amazing.

Here's Landslide...another of my favorites. An old friend would sing it spot-on and I'd play guitar. Brings back memories...great ones.

Hi Steve

The link to Chris Lancaster is- He is second row on the left.

Hi Paul, I have a long history of involvement with Fleetwood Mac. I can confirm that the autographed items advertised by Cool World Collectables on the Graysonline Auction are fake. Additionally the guitar that is advertised has a Fleetwood Mac logo on it. The logo is copyright protected. I have telephoned Chris Lancaster and Graysonline and informed both parties. Interestingly, Chris Lancaster should know better as he has a long history of copyright knowledge. I would hope that these items are removed from Graysonline, as both parties are now aware that these items are fakes. If they do remove them this should give you proof that they have acknowledged that they are fake. If they do not remove them then I would suggest that despite knowing they are fake both Graysonline and Cool World Collectables are prepared to break the law to sell their items.

Hi Frank,

Thank you for joining this site and helping to clear things up. Are members of Fleetwood Mac or their management willing to write statements that we can use to convince Grays to remove their forgeries and hopefully get them to reconsider the sources they use?

Thanks

Hi Steve

I have reported my concerns to Warnermusic Australia's legal people. They are sending it to Warner's US legal people, and there is a good chance that they will be contacting Grays soon. I will let you know if I hear anything from them. This is the quickest avenue to get anything done when dealing with this sort of issue concerning the 'Mac'.

Cheers

Frank
