Hi all. My name is Kevin and I am brand new with this whole autograph business. I am 19 years old and am looking to become an avid collector while at the same time beginning to understand how to tell forgeries from the real deal. Currently I only buy from sellers who say it was authenticated by Psa/Dna, Jsa, or Gai because I am so new with this, but it gets kind of costly and am looking to find the real deal from collectors who don't feel they have to charge more than it is worth due to it being authenticated. First off, would anybody be able to give a nooby like me any tips and secrets with this business of collecting?

Okay now to the real point of this thread. I want your opinion to see if this Tom Brady autograph is the real deal or not. Brady has a very simple autograph and would be really easy to forge, so I looked into the seller's profile. He has a 100% feedback rating, but that does not really mean much. The photo comes with a guarentee it will pass a third party authentication or your money back, but again, does not really mean that much.

So I looked into his other items he has for sale. He has a Calvin Johnson and Troy poulamalu that look pretty decent, but then he also has a jerry rice that even I could tell was completely forged.

Here is the links to both the item and the seller's profile. I look forward to meeting people and learning more about the autograph world. Thanks so much guys and gals.

No good. Everything else they are selling Id stay away from as well. Hope that helps .

Stay away from this seller.  I don't see anything that I'd give a second look.  The Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews photos they have listed are atrocious forgeries.  No question about it.

I didn't check out the other items but the Brady is no good. in fact, it is a fairly common forgery type.

The Joe Namath is suspicious to say the least.  I have two authentic examples that look nothing like it.

Best advice is to educate yourself and do your homeowork before buying anything. Trust your gut. Oftentimes, the creeps will give themselves away between the lines of a sale. Pay attention to what they say and how they say it. You'll catch on. And obviously, coming here was a great first step!
