Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site.  I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.

Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale.  In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake.  The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.

He might not know there is a problem.

Steve

I have not named the UK dealer who threatened me as of yet. I was hoping he would have wised up by now and apologised to me. But he has not so can I state I have not named anyone on this thread

Oopps...I won't mention his name, sorry.

Steve

at this moment until we hear from AFTAL please dont. I dont suppose anything will be said again as they have statedd the Jacksons to be authentic

do you have images of the 2 new ones ?

Steve, as I said on a previous post if they have been proven genuine , why are they being discretly offered ?

strange

Because they aren't genuine mate.

But Aftal have DVD and photo proof and they were signed whilst Jackson sat in his limo !

Its limbo

They say real, Roger Epperson and Steve Cyrkin say fake

Why be so secretive ?

That may be the one thing we agree on RenJones.

Someone threatened you, Gary?

yes mate, a private threat that Im not discussing the content or person who made it on here

I made a statement on this thread in August and I still stand by it. In fact my statement has been backed by Jason Thanos now

I did nothing wrong but I was advised to shut up or legal action would be taken

Hence im careful what i write now

That's the exact type of "blackmail / stongarm" tactics that simply can't be stood for.

You have the RIGHT to your opinion. Especially if you can back it up with certain and specific facts.

Yes Brandon, I find regarding the Jacksons the collectors  / buyers will eventually make there own decision.

I stand by my statement before, this will never end

People will buy them and try to re sell, then Authenticators will reject them as no one will make a decision

Its sad

Hello Forum

I had to make a reply on what I know about the Jacksons that were shown from Garry Kings website.

Let us not forget that Garry stated from the outset he had purchased these from another Dealer under the impression they had been collected 'in person' by the Seller.

When this all erupted he did advise the forum that he had then been advised that the Seller actually sold these to him on the behalf of another Seller.

So Garry fell fowl of all of this thru trust

This does not surely affect his position as a Authenticator.

I do not think its fair to throw a load of muck or tarnish Garry as he obviously went on a persons statement at the time of purchase.

No statement has yet come from Aftal regarding their answers on authenticity, I was kind of hoping they would have published their findings for all to see

I do not know if the examples shown of Jackson signature are still for sale on Aftal dealers websites Perhaps someone may reveal if they are
Please give Garry a break........
Thanks
