On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

michael don't worry we are dozens of REAL MJ FANS that have known personnaly mj and bush too who will testify for you and show them that they are a big scam. If they sent you this letter they must not be happy with the outcome of the auction. Period.

If they sue you they will make themself foolish in the eyes of the collectors world

moreover they are waking up JUST after the auction, when we had alerted the whole world of this big SCAM.

They are going to be the one SUED. And they are now trying to put the finger at respectable and honest collectors who just wanted to speak the truth.

Dear Michael,

As I said to Steve: When backed against the wall, the Unscrupulous reveal themselves. Kickin' it up and blowing smoke.

Darren is some piece o work.

I just want to thank you again for your ethics, your hard work and for hanging tough.

Oh I see Roger and Steve are included as well.... The THANKS I just expressed to Michael about ethics, hard work and hanging tough, I extend to you two gentleman, as well.

Thanks, Wendy. Hopefully Julien's lawyers will get expert opinions on the autographs before they sue, if they're truly considering it.

Yes Steve, I'm sure we would all be interested in seeing those expert opinions..

Wow that means we were effective- if we didnt have an effect then why would they care to bother with lawyers and suits?

Why haven't PSA been included, there's had the most in-pact on the bidders/guest at Juliens auctions????

Great point. That crossed my mind yesterday too.  Perhaps b/c PSA have not formally stated their opinion in our discussion? ...Though it was stated loud and clear in 10 quick opinions of NOT LIKELY GENUINE.

This discussion seems to have REALLY unhinged and gotten under the nerve-endings of the Unscrupulous.

You folks are amazing! I hope the standees zip up the case.

The company name on the top right of the Standee is ADVANCED GRAPHICS and they made the standee. We should find out when they started shipping these and ask about prototypes and licenses pre June 25 2009.

The signed items in the auction brought about $1,300,000 if my calculations are correct.
