No I have never puchased an item authenticated by PAAS or submitted one to PAAS. I would not be that foolish. My dislike for PAAS comes simply from observing the items that have been authenticated that are throughout this site. Not only that but for the smear campaign you were part of against this site, sTeve, and Roger. And you were joined by TM, and others. So why shouldnt you be grouped in that same category? Because you have said you have seen the light? That doesnt jive and i know alot of others dont believe it either. My problem with PAAS can be found simply by doing a search on this site with the words PAAS or Mike Frost.

I completely understand why you feel the way you do about Mike and PAAS, and how confused and angry you may be with me for encouraging him to participate in AML. I would feel just like you if I were in your position.
Mike reached out to me and has said and shown that he wants to make amends for the past, and also help us get rid of forgeries. He has provided examples and other information, publicly and privately, that have been very valuable towards our cause. I've been pretty impressed.
This doesn't mean PAAS's certifications from the past that we disagreed with don't matter anymore. They do. Mike maintains that PAAS's old certifications that were on eBay, which were mainly what we based our opinions on, were a small percentage of what PAAS has certified, and mostly were music and entertainment authentications. And while he maintains that we were wrong in many cases in our opinions, he said that judging PAAS from those authentications alone was not fair (I'm paraphrasing).
Roger and I decided to give Mike a chance to walk his talk. He has been so far, and we're both impressed. I'll never recommend the old PAAS COAs. I probably will never recommend their new ones, because it's too confusing to say I recommend PAAS COAs and LOAs starting, say, May 2012. But if he had a new service under a different name in a few years, it's actually possible that I would recommend it if his authentications are of the quality I've been seeing recently.
I know it sounds crazy, but some people learn; some people change. Some realize their mistakes and try hard for a successful new start. I think Mike is one of those people.
And Mike: You told me months ago you that knew you'd be facing a lot of negativity here, and that you understood that and were willing to take it. So even though I know it's upsetting, please realize that Carl's opinions are reasonable and understandable, even if you don't agree with some of them.

I appreciate everyone's opinion on this autograph that I was thinking about purchasing. I have heard from many that this is not good by Steve, GAI and PSA could not give an opinion one way or another.
I am VERY VERY curious to hear what JSA says about them. He has 9 Obama that he is trying to get authenticated next week. The photos are very interesting. It looks like Obama signed the similar magazines ALL in the same place. I will post here if people want to see them.
I found GAI to be very professional and very quick with their response to me. FYI

Is there any chance I may have dealt with you or had some issues with you under another name? Have you not also been Chris Sink, and or Trapper9990 in the past. I just do not understand why you would need to hide under other names and identities. If you honestly do not like me or have had personal issues with autograph authentication I have done with you, I am here to address those issues and concerns. I just feel to attack me and spread additional comment negative comments about P.A.A.S. would be very unprofessional unless you can say you know something as fact or have first hand knowledge of a problem.
To rely on the word and voice of others is what caused myself and many others nothing but grief for the past 3 years.

Mike's a good person to ask. He's studied Obama's signature more than any authenticator I know. There's another discussion with a JSA Obama signed baseball that has the crappiest autograph I've ever seen. It looked like he was channeling Katherine Hepburn when he signed it. I think I was the only person who thought it was good, and Mike emailed me to say he agreed.

Those have both been my names, and my full name is Christopher Carl Ryan Sink. If you wish to call me Chris or Carl makes no difference to me. I have never hid behind any identity, infact i think thats something you did on ANL and AA. Try and find one post where i posted under one two names at once. So why cant i change the names? Go back and review my posts and you will clearly see why i cahnged them, in fact i clearly state why i did.
PAAS and your actions have spoken for themselves. No one put you into the place you are other than yourself. All we have to do is look at the stuff that you have wrote and said and that should be all thats needed for anyone looking to understand the truth of the situation.
So go ahead and try and spin it that im some random person who is irritated that you failed my items who is out to get you. Try and spin in that b/c i have posted under 2 other names, 2 being my real name by the way, that that means that what im saying isnt 100 percent true. My problems with you come from what i have seen with my own eyes in writing. AFterall if you have a problem with me using other names that surely you should be calling out members such as: DB, terrior, cee gee, ballroom, teammichael, and every other person on this site.
Your actions to me are totally inexcusable. Their is no way around it, because you have admitted to alot of them, and caught red handed in others. You even called for the death of steve cyrkin. To which sTeve even wrote that he was contacting the authorities on.
