On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

Michael Bush is a narcissist! Look at the costumes prior to Bush and Tompkins, the brothers wore military styles, the vision behind the costumes were Michael Jackson's, how dare Bush claim to be the "Designer" he was the SEAMSTRESS ONLY!! Michael Jackson was the designer!! All you have to do is look at all Michael costumes, that weazle Bush should be honored Michael made HIM what he is!! Gave him secure employment for 25 yrs, its been stated Michael was NOT happy with Bush, notice many sigs we see are to Dennis, Bush must have been in the background like a jealous heffer!! So is trying to step in the lime light once Tomkins has passed away, I bet if Tompkins was still alive none of this would be happening. Yes Mike wore the armband after the two were hired, but it was Mike who made the band famous, who would give a damn if Bush wore a band or anything else. Look at the disgusting jacket he wore with Michaels face all over it on his tour, how distasteful was that, it actually showed he is NO designer!

It all makes sense when you start putting the pieces together. We see the first autograph to Bush signed "To Michael" later on signings are to Dennis and Bush. Seems Michael gave more respect to Dennis. Michael was too nice a guy to say anything to someones face, but according to Karen Faye as we read on Twitter, Michael had a problem with Bush. Bush probably knew it. Seeing his true personality now, I can see why Michael may have had a problem with him. Bush no doubt justifies his actions that way. It sounds like he was No TRUE friend of Michaels, and a narcissist is never anyones friend. And it just doesnt make sense that Michael would sign so many items to him when others who knew him for years dont have that many items. Even Klein sold some items, he had quite a few that were presents over the years and he did not have THAT many. They looked like MJ autographs too.  The only bizarre thing that crosses my mind is IF Michael did sign these things (not likely) but IF he did, could he have changed the signings on purpose to be spiteful. Maybe Bush kept asking him to sign stuff and he was irritated by it. Its a far off possibility, but the standee blows that out of the water.

Thanks for another piece of the puzzle, Justin.

Bush likes to proclaim he is the inventor of ideas for and designs of many MJ garments... At 9:11 here, Bush goes into elaborate storytelling about how he supposedly took Michael all around LA looking at fencing outfits in shop windows.... to "design" the gold Dangerous tour outfit - an outfit known throughout the WORLD to have been designed my Gianni Versace. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLktZzTkNTk

Bush is both serving and drinking his own Kool-Aid, at the same time.

Bush mentioned something about that and Versace in an email to me.

"See that versace and the like took credit for MJJ clothes he wanted me to take credit for what I did."

Just another greedy self-serving sycophant in MJ's life.

3:27 Bush: "I don't know how to respond to it".

I'm sure you don't, Bush. Both he and Darren look like (I hate this term, but it fits) ... like deer in the headlights. Lots of eye blinking and jaw dropping. They look scared, and they should. Jig's up.

Lols.

Wendy, I am with you on this comment. Bush, if the signatures were real, would say something like "I know they are real. I watched Michael sign them on...and so and so was there and saw it." It does not seem tough to respond to if the signatures are real.

Thanks Chad.  I know that is how I would respond if I knew something was true and I was being questioned on it.  I'd be emphatic.

My favorite part: At 2:56 "There's a zero percent chance that that's an authentic signature of Michael Jackson" - Roger Epperson :)

Great job to everyone here that brought this to light and opened the eyes of the innocent victims who purchased these items.  I'm proud to be a member along side of all of you!

Thank you Roger. Extremely PROUD of you, Steve, Michael, PSA/DNA.. and our entire team's efforts here!
