that's what I said when I first saw it.  in fact, I thought it was too neat, but the signatures are right on.

True, although a bit of Paul's signature is over George's hair. Paul started his last name just to the right of his image, but it didn't quite fit.

IT's fake, but the nicest fake you'll ever see.

These are the exact type of signatures we saw on that Beatles thread. Remember that?

If this was authentic, it would be the only know Sgt. Pepper album, and probably fetch around $500,000. Also, there's no way the signatures would look that neat and perfect. You mean to friggin tell me...not one of them signed over their head, over their hair. Nope. All clear signatures you can read perfect. A total fake.

Which Beatles thread are you referring to?

I have never seen signatures like this in any thread. and this would not be the only known signed Sgt. Pepper album.  anybody this good would know better than to present their forgeries like this. if someone took the time to get every Beatles signature down perfectly, I would think they would be smarter than this.  I had my questions at first, and I still do, but I cannot argue about the quality of the signatures. it is there.

right on terrier, all autographs are like a finger print. these are without question , no way forged. this is what it is, the best signed pepper album known. pleases roger, let us know what your thoughts are. i will state my life on the fact that no one could forge all of there sigs. this good. every one of these sigs. are right on from the right period, sometimes we get too paranoid of the facts that are right in front of our noses. this is what it is.

anytime I see things like this, where the signatures look this good, and the normal questioning and scrutiny starts, I think "if this forger is THIS good, why aren't there more of these around?"  I mean, why would a forger practice practice practice for the time it would take to perfect these, and then only forge one album?

Comment by Xperttexpert on February 23, 2013 at 6:50pm

there would be all kinds of items around if this so called forger was that good. he would be constanly forging. you just can't pull a one off on a pepper album that is undetectable as a fake. this was signed by all the lads in a unrushed, and closed to the mania enviorment. if you josh, are basinig the fact that theses are fake just because they are well placed on the album you are wrong.

From the Heritage item description:

Renowned Beatles expert Perry Cox avers, "With my being thoroughly immersed in Beatles collectibles for over 30 years, it takes something extraordinarily special to excite me, but I consider this to be one of the top two items of Beatles memorabilia I've ever seen - the other being a signed copy of Meet The Beatles."

This is a UK Parlophone copy of the album with characteristic high gloss cover and gatefold - beautiful! It's accompanied by an "Official Souvenir Programme" of the fourth annual Beatles Convention of Cavern Mecca, dated August 26, 1984. Interested? Be prepared for some spirited, competitive bidding! Condition: EX 7/ EX 7. Two LOAs included: one from Perry Cox and one from Frank Caiazzo.

Case closed?
