What do you guys think of this set?

I'm in two minds...some things look ok, but then something tells me otherwise.

What are your opinions?

Thanks in advance.

strange set. the lennon is spot on. the rest are unusual.

Yeah I cant make my mind up on them.

The Ringo doesnt look too bad either.

This is a program from The Beatles/Roy Orbison tour in the UK from May to early June 1963...there are supposed to be somewhere around 10 or so of these programs that have turned up fully signed by all 4...it looks ok...my opinion.

All the signatures look good to me!

Thanks for the info and help guys

They look OK to me.

they look real. same guy on ebay has these that had the book page up that sold cheap on ebay that was dicussed on an earlier thread.

Interesting this  set as were the ones that went cheap. Last year similar sets were for sale on Ebay. The seller said his mother got them and left them to him etc etc. He was new to ebay. He was from the UK. They looked good but there was something about them. Could there be a good forger out there.

Check out this program, which was removed from eBay a while back. It appears to contain the exact same signatures, except in a slightly different position:

looks like you may have nailed it ballroom, these are the exact same sigs. as the ones in question. they have to be printed, just as i suspect the cheap set he sold the other day is. this is why i am so paranoid with beatles sigs.

You know I nearly posted a warning about 'copied/printed' autographs in my previous post because of something I read months ago on another forum but thought I might start a 'storm in a teacup'. Wish I'd mentioned it now.  For any members of Doug Sulpy's forum here is a link to a post made in a thread about Beatles' autographs (I post as Panyaa) . It looks as though this might be one of them. Good detective work again Ballroomdays67.  I quote

I have to warn you about ebay. There are from time to time authentic looking fully signed tourbooks (mainly 1963 Orbison tour and such) on the market but the signatures were copied on...

Obviously one has to take care that the item has actually been signed as well as checking the form of the signatures.

Great example Ballroom. There seems to be a lot of these programmes turning up lately.
