If it's destroying anything then it just doesn't make any sense to me.

I mean, there are game jersey cards of Babe Ruth for Christ's sake. Someone actually took a complete Ruth used jersey and cut it up. That's just unbelievable to me. I realize very few of us would be able to purchase a Ruth jersey or a Lincoln document or anything along those lines, but that doesn't mean it should be cut up just to make it affordable to own a tiny piece. I'm not seeing the value. As I said, every single time I look at it is just a reminder that the original is destroyed and can never be put together. Truly sad that Upper Deck or any of these company/people thought to do this.
