LOL. I am a novice at Mantle, and have had only one in my collection which i sold. But even i, just from seeing authentic examples on this site, know that this autograph is garbage. Mantle was very consistent around the time you said this was signed, and his signatures looked nothing like this. 

Unfortunatley Jay, this looks to be a ghastly forgery, and if its up for sale, i would prepare for it coming down very soon.

That is one ugly Mickey Mantle forgery listed by Ebay seller Easytobuycoins.

He should stick to coins.

Unfortunately, This ball was signed by Mickey Mantle in the fall of 1985 and has been sitting in the original box that the ball came in ever since. "Untouched". I'm sorry if it looks like a fake to you, but its not. I understand what your trying to do but you could try it a little more professionally. Good luck with your future purchases and I hope you accomplish what your set out to do.

You mention in your listing that you sent a Red Ruffing ball to PSA/DNA that you'll list as soon as it's back. Since you use PSA, why not get a Quick Opinion on the Mantle Ball? It's less than $10 and it could keep you from selling a customer a forgery.
