The idea that Benjamin Franklin would actually inscribe "Best inventor in history" is an absolute joke.  Where did you find this Charles?  It can't be serious.

Mike, it was being sold by ebay seller: JDSbullPen   It is the first item he has listed in a loooong time.  It got yanked within 1 or 2 hours after I reported it.  Which i'm sure i'm not the only one who reported this crap

Mike, I actually just googled the phrase JDSBullPen Fake and you'd be shocked by the results.  It seems as if this guy has been defrauding people for many years

Update:  This seller responded to my PM on ebay.  He told me he found this cut in an old dictionary from 1844.  It truly amazes me at what these people will do to convince others.  I mean, look at this snow white piece of paper.

Washington died before the 1800's anyway.  Or is he saying that the loose paper was tucked away in the dictionary?
