Nope, it's KSA. They're a well-known card grader that is starting to do autograph authentication.

JSA and PSA do as well I believe?

I am still skeptical about this Mays.  what I mean by the slant is if you put a straight edge on the baseline, and a vertical line perpendicular, the straight line on the W is almost at 45 degrees, which is highly unusual with Mays. it is either perfectly straight up or slightly slanted.

Its Real in my opinion. Darker pressure points look correct and the autograph as a whole. spacing between willie and mays look good, Mays lines up with the in and out of his W as it should. The sloppy-ness could be from being rushed or towards the end of a signing when one's hand can get crampy or tired of signing his own name a couple hundred times. If anyone can add info to the characteristics, things to look for so we can help each other from buying junk!

It was fake.

wow! forgers are getting good, I would have taken a chance on it for the right price. im trying to learn as much as I can, however I always use psa quick opinion before buying whether the item is online or a local shop. Paying an extra $10.00 to protect my investment is a no-brainer to me, and this is why, forgers are getting good and its hard to determine authenticity.

Even if I buy an item psa/dna authenticated, I have taken items to the local shop when they have jsa in to authenticate and have had them authenticate the item also. The more reputable opinions the better nowadays, Esp with the amount fakes getting worse and how close to looking authentic.

I see some things wrong with it.
