Joe is a real peach.

The problem with Joe (Gridiron) is that he's been doing this for so long that he actually has people thinking his stuff is good, I think he's actually beginning to think his stuff is good.

When you sent him that message you should've asked him why he has never taken anyone on this blog up on the offer to come and explain his business. I'd love to see his list of players he claims to represent. Does that list include Tom Brady, Lawrence Taylor, Joe Namath, Dan Marino, etc etc? I think not, however he seems to have a never ending supply of all of these guys. I've been attending back room signings at all of the big shows for years and have NEVER seen a table set up in the backroom that say "Gridiron", in fact at one of the shows this year I asked Gary Takahashi (the owner of GTSM on of the biggest if not the biggest football shows around) how it is that Gridiron can sell the items he does at half the price of what GTSM wholesale prices are and he said "Because they are all fake" I asked Gary if he knows who Joe is and he said "He used to set up in the back in the beginning but would only have about 10 items per player but take a lot of photos". so I said, he basically was just there to get "proof pics". He said "Yes, which is why he is no longer allowed in the backroom at the shows". There was much much more said but I won't get into it on here but basically he was taking the photo's to add to his coa's which is why people think the stuff is good.

GTSM (Gary) has exclusive deals with about 90% of the guys that Gridiron (Joe) is selling and I doubt that those guys will go outside of that contract to sign autographs for Gridiron.

The other Big name he sells a ton of is Tom Brady, the photo he has on the coa is from a FREE, Yes FREE signing that Brady did his rookie year in Mass but Joe has been selling these items for 13 years now, most of the items weren't even made when Brady did that signing like all of the Super Bowl footballs for example. Tom Brady also has an exclusive contract with Mounted Memories and I highly doubt he would violate that contract to do a Private signing with Gridiron.

What I'd like to see is paperwork, Receipts etc showing that he paid any of these players for a signing in the past year. I know this business is mostly a cash business but I am sure that if he did in fact do a signing with Tom Brady that Mr.Brady wasn't walking out with $50,000 (or more) in cash, there would've had to been a check written, So lets see the check Joe. Let's see the contract you had with any of these guys. Lets see the plane tickets for either getting these guys to you or you traveling to the signings.

Joe seems to have it all figured out though and ebay isn't going to do anything about it because he probably pays ebay in the easy 6 figures in fees on a yearly basis and they're not going throw that money away.

In closing, ebay buyers can continue to support this crook with these fake signatures but at the end of the day the more they buy the longer he'll stay in business. Anyone who has ever bought an item with a Gridiron Authentics coa should have it examined by PSA/DNA or JSA and I'd be willing to bet not 1 signature will come back as being good.

I see that members on these boards get ebay to pull items down all the time so why is it that this guy can continue to sell these items in bulk on a weekly basis is far beyond comprehension. Why hasn't the FBI gotten involved and questioned where these items are coming from?

PROVE ME WRONG JOE, LETS SEE THE PROOF...

The title of this should be changed or merged with the other discussions about Gridiron IMO.

If you do a search on the site here for Gridiron, it already links to this conversation.   Discussion replies are picked up as well as titles.
