NO GOOD...

Thanks for your advice, guys. Here's an update. After seeing your responses, I haven't paid for the item yet. I made it clear that I am questioning the validity of the autograph. Here was his response, tell me how you would go from here. Also, my friend made a great point to me. If I never have intent to sell it, what does it matter if i never know whether its real or not? Here is the sellers response.

Dear polamonyinz,

heres the deal... we buy our stuff from a buyer who gets them in mulk when the players are in town. i am not sure when it was signed. If you dont like global we understand and can cancel the item. this item will pass psa or jsa. They are coming down to earth also. Global has turned a corner and is working very hard to fix the bad rap they got years ago. So if you want please tell me if you are wanting the item or i should just repost it. Thanks

Cancel the transaction. It´s fake.

run it by PSA's quick opinion.  Im not sure I understand your "great point".  if it doesn't matter whether it's real or not, why bother asking?

Agreed,

Dont know a thing about this guys autograph, but GAI/GA are just as bad as they have ever been in my opinion, and in fact are worse. But i am with terrier, your friend actually had a horrible point. Are you looking for a legit item, or just a diplay/convo type thing. I ask b/c you can always go the route of a preprint if you are looking for a conversation piece type of thing. Some people buy them and frame them up and they look good, and they know they are not real, but still enjoy them as a display piece. I would go that route if you are looking for a piece for that reason.

If you are looking for a signed item though, then it makes all the difference in the world wether you know its real or not. Why would you want a fake/forgery hanging in your home? A forgery that you would spend your hard earned money for that is worth absolutely nothing?? Its like throwing money away. If you are trying to buy an autograph marketed as real, then it should be. If it isnt then you are just throwing the money away.

Tell them you will buy it if they pay for PSA as GAI has not turned any corner and actually has turned up the forgeries. But seems this seller knows a bit too much about their dealings so RUN
