hello everyone. i m a newble of sport autograph.

i just got a manchester city jersey from ebay. the description marked it is a player issue with team autograph. it comes with a COA by an unknown
person, & a message from a company "UK Autograph Collecting Co". i have no idea about this company as i can't find any detail from the web. however the seller got back to me that all the autographs are authenticated by an expert called ACE (http://www.autograph-certification-experts.co.uk/). ;(

also i found the shirt is made in thailand. becasue the player issue is not available for selling in retail market, so i don't it's real or not. but the seller said it's 100% genuine. how can i get any information of it? can anyone take a look of my player issue shirt? ;(

thanks michelle. i'm actually in hong kong. the paypal provided me a faster number by logging in my paypal account. i will call them about this case.

the seller's ebay account show their location is "United Kingdom",

the parcel's return address is  "Lewiston, 14092, New York, US"

and the seller advised me that the address which i return to is "Virgil, L0S1T0, CANADA"

should i need to clarify about this with the seller? u know, they need a long time to reply my question. or i just follow the address they provided is fine?  sure i will say this to the paypal customer service for my case.

My advice; - Don't  return this shirt  with all these different addresses ,in different countries UNTIL paypal has clarified the situation& informed you which address they want it returned to.  Then tell the sender that this is the address that paypal has informed you it should be returned to & also keep proof of purchase & signed for delivery otherwise the dealer can say they never received it .

It may be a good idea if you speak to someone at paypal to also mention all these addresses !! for obvious reasons & also the fact that the shirt is made in Thailand. This is in case the person you speak to isn't really interested & doesn't understand how easy it is to fake a COA.  However, they should be interested in a shirt made in Thailand & a dealer that needs 3 different addresses in 3 different countries.!!! Good luck

i called paypal about my worry on the return address, the CS representative checked and found that the seller didn't provide any tracking address before and they will now act as middleman to send email to the seller to double confirm the return address. Paypal will send me an email once the seller replied (normally takes 4-5 days) and I will return the shirt by then.

Paypal also asked me to reply that email so that I can attach the product photos, shipping document, tracking no., etc

Great, now if the seller does not provide an address you will get a refund and get to use the shirt as a way to clean the floor or something. If they do provide an address, give them the tracking and once it's back you get your money. Please ensure you leave negative feedback to warn others once you have your money.

Oh  that's good & its also good that paypal    have discovered that there is no tracable address!!!

Great to see that you are on your way to a refund!

yes, i had returned the shirt by speed post. and the send the tracking number with attached photos (every stage) to paypal. paypal said they will pass them to the seller.

even the parcel is still on the way to canada,  the seller seems pressed refund. i found that notice in my paypal account. but not yet receive the money back in my bank (VISA) account. i think should be fine as it may take some days.

anyway, thanks so much for all you guy's help! :)

Well it's good to see the refund is on the way. Please also leave negative feedback just saying it's a forgery but do not mention you opened a case or eBay remove it.

i finally get the refund from paypal.

but i still didn't leave the feedback yet. you suggested not to mention i opened the case. do you mean if i write this...the seller may closed this account and re-business in other account?

once again! thanks for everybody's help~!!! ; )

I believe it's against ebay policy to state you opened a case in feedback. In that case, ebay could remove the negative feedback. I'm not sure about that, but I think that's the case.

Just state that the shirt was proven to be a forgery and that the communication from the seller was not good and shady.

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin is right, just state it's a forgery and do not mention the case. Great you got a refund
