What is up with Substance Collectables - Milton Luban

and like all good threads there are discussions witin discussions but this sub-discussion came up on a dealer Milton Lubin & http://www.substancecollectables.com/boxing_hall_of_fame___1

It appears that in 2003 although the Lubans were properly served but they failed to answer the complaint.

DECISION AND ORDER
MARRERO, District Judge.
By order dated July 22, 2003, the Court authorized entry of a default judgment in favor of plaintiffs Tiffany (NJ) Inc. and Tiffany and Company (collectively, "Tiffany") and against defendants Milton and Connie Luban and their company Luban Incorp. (collectively, the "Lubans"), the proprietors of an internet site selling counterfeit Tiffany merchandise in violation of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114(1), 1116(d). Upon consideration of Tiffany's written and oral evidence as to its damages, the Court awards Tiffany a judgment in the amount of $573,818.64.

On 17 May 2012 the guys who were building a file heard the following news : He received a letter from the lawyers of Prince Marketing and Super Star Greetings today. Telling him to remove all items and images of Joe Frazier, Micky Ward, Roy Jones Jr, Hulk Hogan, Chuck Zito, Vinnie Paz and the Super Star Greetings logo. This guy is total scum and is getting what he deserves.

I wont pu the photos yet I will leave them as aces in our hands till we have too but I believe there is enough here to make your minds up if this is true or not.

Recently I received some photos that appear to have been photoshopped and were alleged to be used by Milton Lubin to promote his product offerings.  The one on the left is what has been alledged as the real one while the one on the right has been alledged as fake ones that were used as "proof" pictures.

Since I have no dogs in this fight and Milton Lubin is an AML member here as was pointed out in the intial thread above, it would be pertinent to have some feedback on these claims and allegations.

I think we may be talking to Milton under another name. Or are you just an associate of his? Your tired tough guy ramblings are such an old tactic, that they are hardly even worth responding too. And your grammar is a sad thing as well. We will continue exposing Milton Luban and his forgeries as long as he continues to sell forgeries. Communicate that to your buddy. I wonder how many returns he has to process just because of this site, does that hurt Milton Lubans feelings??? Maybe you can answer that for us Rich?? That sure must hurt, knowing this little old site is hurting his pocket book and destroying his credibility. How does that sound to you Rich?

You wouldnt do anything but continue to sell forgeries and have no clue what you are talking about. There is no doubt this is a fake and that guy sells fakes. 53 years old and cant tell a forgery? Maybe its time for new glasses.

Gonzo.......I am one of those punks you refer too. The proof of selling me a fake is on the 10th page. No jealousy. Hater? Who wouldn't feel that way after theyt got ripped off. I have countless emails of information devulged to me by Milton that I could plaster all over this site that would make you pull your bottom lip up over your face.. Iam 55 and live Iin the NaNashville area and call you out.. Ready anytime for little punks like you that come on the site and call these backed statements jealousy with the PROOF behind every comment.  You spent 100k with Milton.......LOL....anyone that did so would not be bragging about it. If any of your 100k has a Substance hologram on it you had better have it checked.  There is no one here that is taken back by your tough guy persona.  We state the facts here and if you don't like it then try and stop it........PUNK all the way!

Rick.....very good call. You nailed it spot on. Milton is to much of a coward to come in here and defend allllll these claims so I think Milton probably sent thid moron in to stir things up. Again,  good call.

This Gonzo tough guy.........in my opinion, definately Milton behind it, that is how Milton talks. Milton throws around big numbers.  When I initially saw the Ali aka Clay glove for sale, and before I got wise to him, it said call or email for pricing. He told me that he had a huge box of them, 100s, going out to a wholesale client but would "sneak" one out of that box and sell just to me, although he said he shouldn't do such a thing. Took me a couple of months before I actually decided to pay for it but never ever heard from him about it during those 2 months. When I finally emailed him to ask if he still had it so I could  pay, after not finding any like it and thought "wow, I should buy it. It is rare". Then Milton emailed me 100 times a day asking for his money. Begging and saying I had to pay now or he had someone else that wanted it. If it was such a RARE and really authentic glove then why, after PayPal refunded me for the proven fake glove, did he not ever email me and say he wanted the glove back? Too late now Moron.
