Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

I'll have an update in the next few days hopefully.

Mrs. Lewis did tell me JLL does write all of the inscriptions as well as the autograph on the ttm items. I asked just in case someone else was doing the inscriptions and he was signing them. I know of at least a couple other famous folks who do that.

If he writes all the inscriptions , his 'S' has certainly changed in a matter of weeks.

The originally posted "Sincerely" and the one from Steven are a ton different. I think the Mark Roberts example is the most "off" of all the ttm examples posted. I believe many of the autographs posted are legit but his just seems really odd.

hopefully this has a happy ending I appericiate roger letting us know he won't be back until Monday will be nice to hear his opinion about this situation.

This is mine from December. I paid $20 for mine...after looking at this thread, mine doesn't look legit.

Yep Josh - Same ole same ole - the ones we have been getting of late  :(

Its all very discouraging.  I dont trust any of them.  BTW, has anyone else received a 'Bless You' inscription besides the one posted here?

Ok friends, I have an update. This will be helpful to some and frustrating to others I am sure.

I mentioned a while back that Judith Lewis was going to provide some proof for me regarding JLL actually signing the items himself. I have had numerous interactions with her and she assures me JLL signs all of the items himself and does the inscriptions himself.

Several days ago she sent me two images. The first image shows JLL holding the two items I sent on 4-24-14. The second image shows my items sitting on the floor at their home, signed. If nothing else, this proves that the two items I received are authentic and gives us brand new and current exemplars to compare to other examples.

I appreciate all of the communication I have received from the Lewis's and the time they took for me and in turn collectors. I will post the images late this evening when I am at home. I believe this will help move our discussion on JLL ttm's forward.

Interesting… looking forward to seeing your images.  So you got the items back that he signed this second time, right?

thanks for all the work - Chad
