Oh wow, Elvis and Nirvana autographs found in storage shed... Yeah, right. shell_alexa

http://www.ebay.com/sch/shell_alexa/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_...=

I know these sellers are a dime a dozen these days... However, this seller's (shell_alexa) bogus explanation of the origin of these autographs is over-the-top. You can read it for yourself above. The seller stumbled upon a storage shed full of picture-perfect (assuming they were real) autographed items (mostly LPs) including Elvis, George Harrison, Nirvana, U2, etc. Of course, the owner of the storage shed is no longer alive, so nothing is known about where or how these "autographs" were obtained. The seller does say they received "mixed reviews" from collectors (which sounds like a "cover your ass" message).

I know sellers like this are everywhere, but it sickens me. I have reported this seller to Ebay, even though nothing will probably happen.

I'm glad you guys are as angry about this as I am. It's so disgusting to watch these items sell for decent sums of money, one after the other. I have reported this seller and sent a message directly to the seller (I tried to be as "polite" as possible) about the authenticity of their items. I'm sure I won't hear back, but I'll let you guys know if I do.

Terrible!! Some people don't care about ripping off others to line their own pockets!

Sellers like this, who sell atrocious fakes, really get to me. Ebay probably wont do squat, so until then, i am happy to post images of all this sellers crap here and expose his little outfit. Eventually a buyer ( a real buyer, and not a shill) will find this thread and hopefully go after this guy......HARD!!!

Ebay seller shell_alexa is happily selling these putrid forgeries. That Muddy Waters/Chuck Berry, and JLH forgery is just laughable. I also like how on that stone temple pilots forgery, the auction listing is for a Stone Temple "pirates' signed pickguard. HAHAHA. I so hope this guy comes here. But even more than that, i hope we can stop him cold.

These putrid forgeries would give NE Autographs a run for there money

Pretty much every fake this person is selling has bids on it...

Here is the only authentic item he is selling.

I just noticed it looks like the same person is currently winning almost every item this person is selling. Almost every item, he put multiple bids on, as well. There's definitely something shady going on (in addition to the fake autographs). Perhaps, driving the price up before eventually getting outbid?

No doubt, if they will sell these forgeries with no shame, then shill bidding is just a drop in the bucket

Okay, I'm looking through this again for the first time in months - these exact same forgeries were being sold at one of the vendor areas at Wizard World Chicago a couple weeks back.  The U2 and Michael Jackson forgeries are easy to spot.

Snapped a couple pics.  I'll post later when I get home.

The shell_alexa is no longer a registered user.  The new user ID (or the person who was selling the same exact "Jaksul" as shell_alexa ) is... zvitalik87 .   "shell_alexa" is no longer a registered user.  I had posted a thread on them here:  http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/sunday-morning-chuck...
