Their website is sgccard.com and they say on the site "The Industry's Most Trusted Grading and Authentication Service."

I see a few balls that I like with that SGC coa. I have seen them at some local shows around the cincinnati area, but I was kinda turned off because I was looking at a fake mantle ball on one of the vendors stands. I said Im pretty sure this is a fake mantle ball and the vendor said well that guy over their just certified it. I turned around and it was an SGC stand..

I know there will always be mistakes but I dont see them much and dont see much of their COA's on baseballs; mainly cards.

Any advice?

From what I hear, SGC is a cheaper alternative to PSA/DNA and JSA.  I agree with most of the comments here; SGC has been pretty accurate from the items I've seen, especially with regard to sports autographs.  I even saw a couple of Jackie Gleason signed index cards that checked out well with everyone here that was authenticated by them, so entertainment autographs should be fine too.

I moved this discussion to Autograph Authentication Services. It won't affect links.

I haven't seen much of their autograph work, but I've had little complaint with what I've seen. SGC has a reputable trading card grading service, so their autograph authentication service should likewise be legit. The marketplace should benefit from the expanded choice and competition.
