Hello,

I'm new here, but I wanted to ask a question. I have this print, and I am getting this person's autograph next weekend. I was wandering what would be the best marker to use and what color?

I thought about a sharpie, but someone mentioned the acid in the sharpie could cause it to bleed. A guy I talked with suggested an acid free permanent pen. I found this one at Hobby Lobby. It is a Perma Writer II Marker.

Also, I made a copy of the print to see what color would be best. I used a black sharpie and a silver sharpie. The black seemed to do better than the silver, but I wanted to ask the experts on here :).

Thank you so much for any help you can give. I want this to last a long, long, time.

I don't have mine yet. I was told to pick them up at Will Call (which they said will be right near where he is signing). I guess we won't find out what number we are until we get there. I was told to get there right at 10:30 or 11:00 to get tickets, but I may get there a little earlier.
Well you will to watch and see if you see me because you know what I look like from my profile picture.
I will call tomorrow and see what they say because I really don't want to get there and have to wait 5-6 hours in line if I don't have to.

Jessica,

I did speak with them again plus they called me to verify all of my orders and yes I said orders.

It is a Will Call and you will go and pick up your tickets and then get in line when they call your number to line up.

They haven't even emailed the notice from the mall yet so there are a lot of people that have no idea that this is how they are handling it.

There will still be people that don't know that are going to show up and get to the mall at 4-5 AM.

I also just called my Daniel Moore print distributor who is handling all of our championship season prints and bought a couple of  prints to have mark sign. I should have them in time.

Thanks for the info. As far as I know, you have to order a ticket in order to get an autograph (if I am understanding that correctly). I think they should put something on their website explaining everything. Those Moore prints will look great autographed. My father has some, but he said he wouldn't walk across the street for someone's autograph. LOL.

I also read where you can pick up your tickets starting Friday. I may head over and get mine so I can just get in line first thing instead of waiting at Will Call because I'm sure it will be crazy. Did they tell you a time to get there?

He said 10 AM on Saturday and he also said they will call for the first 100 numbers to line up plus he said that the ticket is the number I guess they are issuing to your order and he is combining all of mine together.

They did say they would be set up Friday night and you could pick up your tickets then just don't lose them.

The crazy part is going to be all of the people that don't know and are going to get there in the early morning and then find out there are already sveral hundred people already ahead of them.

I was hoping they could work out some kind of deal with Ingram or even the company so we could get him to sign our Heisman Print from Daniel Moore which comes out in March.

I talked with someone there and they told me to be there at 11. I was going to get there early, but they seem like they keep telling everyone something different.

Did they say what group you were in?

Just picked up my tickets and I am in the second group of 100. He says we should get called to line up by noon after the first 100 get done.
I picked mine up as well. I am in the first 100, but hopefully I will see you!
I will be there around 10:30-11:00 and just hanging around waiting until you slow pokes get finished and I can get in line. ;-)
Hehe. I hope we aren't too slow. I sure don't want to be there all day! I'm getting there around 10:30 as well. The guy said we should take approx. an hour so I guess they get us in and out quick. Also, they are going to have all the pens. I was going to use a paint pen on this, and he said they had one. I went through all trouble hunting and researching one :).
I used to love vis-a-vis blue pens but I heard they don't make them anymore.  Any news?
