I will be going to Chicago Comic Con for the second straight year. I'm not sure if I will make Dragon Con again this year or not. I know I missed you at Dragon Con last year.

I first went to the San Diego Comic Con in 1992, and I couldn't wait to go back!  Unfortunatley, I had to wait till '96 to go back!  But since '96, I've gone to it every year.  Since the San Diego Con has gotten so…

I really haven't mailed much out since I wasn't getting a lot back TTM. But I did receive an envelope recently with a pre-print from Mel Brooks. I just have not had much time and TTM and buying autographs is almost depressing…

If I sell something I can give them a picture of when and where I met the celebrity and the exact time of day. The thing is most of the time people that sell stuff like on eBay come and go everyday. Unlike myself that has been a steady buyer and…

Collector
What do you collect, or want to start collecting?
Sports, Books/Literature, Modern Hollywood and Stage, Classic Hollywood and Stage, Music, SciFi, Space/Aviation/Military
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
I have been a collector of many things for many years from comic books, comic book and Sci-Fi original art, to autographs so I have a rather large collection of stuff. But I guess my expertise would be the comic book creators since I actually work with a lot of them every year.
What is your level of expertise?
Advanced Collector
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
I would have to say my Bon Jovi mainly because I consider that one of my first from 1989.
Why do you collect?
This is a hard question for collectors to answer and I am not sure but it is an addiction and I have slowed down a little but it still seems to take over.
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley

Saw the play "Cheaper To Keep Her" and had a meet and greet with Vivica Fox.....

Posted on November 10, 2010 at 8:38am 1 Comment

I had won an auction several months ago for tickets to the play "Cheaper To Keep Her" and it also included a meet and greet backstage with Vivica Fox from the movies Kill Bill and Independence Day.

So the closest venue was Atlanta so that was the one I picked and I was able to use my Hilton Honors points and they gave us a free room on the Executive Level so we had free drinks and food for the weekend but we did go out and have a nice dinner.

So we get to the…

I Was Invited on the Nate Berkus Show—and Met Matt Dillon at Dinner!

Posted on October 31, 2010 at 11:00am 10 Comments

My story starts last Tuesday in the afternoon. I receive an email mail from a website that I use to show some of my movie memorabilia. The email reads like this “My name is Jessica and I am the producer on the Nate Berkus show and I would like to talk to you about a piece of your movie memorabilia would you please call me”. So I am of course taken by surprise so I went ahead and called the…

Film Great Tony Curtis Passed Away on 09/29/10. R.I.P.

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 6:03am 2 Comments

This is a sad day not only did we lose a great actor but also a great person. I had the pleasure of talking with Tony on the phone a while back and we were working out the details of getting together when my wife and I make a trip to Las Vegas after Christmas this year. I was hoping he would be able to make it to our vow renewal ceremony. But this is not to be but I will always treasure that phone conversation with Tony and I wish the family well and I know it's going to be very difficult times.

"Coaches Corner" ? Selling at my Local Mall.....

Posted on September 18, 2010 at 9:50am 4 Comments

Okay I got out of my office a little early on Thursday because one it was my birthday and the other I had to deliver parts to a couple of companies and I had an appointment with my lawyer.

So I figured I had a little time left to drop by the mall and get some dinner and then walk around. So I notice a lot of collectibles being sold by vendors in the middle of the walkways so I started browsing and all the way at the end I see autographs being sold and at first I was excited…
