What type of marker should I use for a print?

Hello,

I'm new here, but I wanted to ask a question. I have this print, and I am getting this person's autograph next weekend. I was wandering what would be the best marker to use and what color?

I thought about a sharpie, but someone mentioned the acid in the sharpie could cause it to bleed. A guy I talked with suggested an acid free permanent pen. I found this one at Hobby Lobby. It is a Perma Writer II Marker.

Also, I made a copy of the print to see what color would be best. I used a black sharpie and a silver sharpie. The black seemed to do better than the silver, but I wanted to ask the experts on here :).

Hi Jessica,

Guess you didn't see me walking around the first line. But I was there and got all of my items signed and was out of there by 12:20 and having lunch over at Cracker Barrell by 12:30.

Very organized and moved very quickly. Have you heard anything about Julio Jones being in town soon?

I must have missed you. I got out of there around 11:50 or so.

I haven't heard anything for sure. When I was standing in line at Greg's session at Bama Fever in Madison Square Mall, I overheard the owner telling the couple in front of me that they were working on it. I'm sure USA Sports or someone will get him as well. I'm hoping the place over in Gadsden gets him because they are cheaper than USA Sports, and it is better organized.

Do you have any idea what is the best case for a football? I got the plastic one from Hibbett's, but when I put my football in it, it wouldn't close all the way. I'm afraid that would cause the autographs to fade or bleed over time. My father's ball has already bleed a little after only 3 years. His is in a plastic case like this one.

I purchase mine from a comapny on eBay and they are U/V protected glass with a wood base and I think they are around $48.00 plus shipping but they are very nice.

That is what I have my football in that you looked at in my pictures on this site. So go look at it again and they are really nice and worth every penny.
