I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Thanks for the information Pete.  The item that I considered purchasing two years ago had a personal inscription on it.

Pete, remind me again of the non star role actors in Star Wars whose signature brings a lot of value or similar value to the staring roles.

Off the top of my head ..... more common names that keep gaining value include Don Henderson, Bob Anderson, Shelagh Fraser, Peter Diamond, Bill Hootkins, Phil Brown, John Hollis, Claire Davenport and Bruce Boa.

far less common, some even questionable as to their existence.....

Leigh Brackett ...original ESB scriptwriter
Eddie Byrne ,,,General Willard
Larry Ward ...linguist and Voice of Greedo & Jabba (none known)
Graham Ashley... Pops (4 known)
Jack Purvis ...Jawa , ugnaught, and Teebo
Richard Marquand... director of Jedi
Alex McCrindle ...Gen. Dadonna (6 known)
Ted Burnett....Wuher the bartender (at least 1 known)
Moray Bush...Dengar (1 known)
Sebastian Shaw ....unmasked Vader
Roy Staite ... smoker in Cantina (4 known)
Jeremy Sinden ...Gold pilot Tiree
Dan O'Bannon....vfx
Grant McCune ....academy award winning vfx (3 known)
Kathy Mullen...assistant Yoda
John Stears ...academy award winning vfx
Swee Lim ....puppeteer
Des Webb ...Wampa (none known)
Willard Huyck & Gloria Katz ...SW script writers
Reg Harding...stunts
John Barry ...production designer
Joseph Campbell ...philosopher writer
Alex Raymond...creator Flash Gordon
Marcia Lucas... editor
and so many more, that are just slipping my mind.

I like how you included Joseph Campbell and Alex Raymond in that list.

Without the 2 of them SW would have never happened. George's failure to get the rights to Flash Gordon caused him to create his own characters based upon the writings of Joseph Campbell's "Hero With A Thousand Faces" Just toss in one Akira Kurosawa film and you have Star Wars.

I would even consider including John Ford, but that may be stretching it a bit.  Check out this scene from The Searchers.

Very nice Bradford.  I enjoy The Original Series a lot, particularly the pilot episode.  I have actually been watching the Star Trek films this week.  I have never seen all of them.  As a matter of fact, the only ones that I recall ever seeing at all are The Wrath of Khan and First Contact.

Pete and Mike. Will you compare these two Hunters and give me your thoughts? Thanks
