This poster being sold by ebay seller salembik0751. The JSA sticker is fake, and the ACE certification is worthless. Don't be fooled by this junk.

Next up we have this photo from eBay seller wowwbuy. I'm not a big prequel collector myself, but these are not even worth the current $3.69 bid.

Last up for today we have this photo "signed" by Carrie Fish and Ha.... As rare as Carrie Fish signatures are, I would hold off on snatching this one up.

Great work Mike.  I am so happy to see that questionable Star Wars autographs are receiving the same attention as questionable Mickey Mantle autographs on AML these days.  Keep up the good work.  May the Force be with you.

The autographs on the first piece are not as concerning to me as the autographs on the following two pieces.  My greatest concern about the first piece is that the seller does not allow a clear view of the autographs based on the quality of the images.  The autographs appear to be relatively typical based on the available images.

Nice catches, the JSA one is even more worrying as someone is bound to bite as it has a sticker

The JSA sticker may have been affixed to the poster in order to authenticate at least one of the autographs, and additional autographs may have been added to the poster at a later time.  I do not believe that JSA uses that particular service and sticker any longer.

That JSA sticker was used to authenticate items with less than $20 in value.  That is why they didn't bother to put a serial number on sticker and enter it into their database (which was stupid). None of the Star Wars signatures on that poster have a value of less than $20. Forgers take them off cheap items and put them on forgeries to fool people into thinking they are actually JSA authenticated. If JSA were to actually authenticate this poster, they would have assigned a number and documented it in their database, even if it only had 1 signature at the time.

As for the signatures, take a look at the Fisher signature, the hesitation in the C right into the rest of her name, nothing about that signature is right. The Kenny Baker is not even close, Kenny's "K" is always much more embellished as is the "B" in Baker. The JEJ is equally bad, look at the "J" in James and the "J" in Jones. They are very different! You would expect someone who signs their name with two Js every time would at least keep the same slant and formation of the same letters.. and that is what you see in a genuine JEJ signature. Peter Mayhew does not sign his last name with the flaired M or a gigantic space between the y and h. He also knows how to spell Chewbacca correctly. The Lucas has way too much pressure on the baseline and his signature is much more narrow. The Ford is much too neat, that signature style with the elongated H is the giveaway in my opinion. I don't think Harrison can even draw two lines that neat if he really tried. The Daniels is tough to see, but based on all of the other signatures here, I would not touch this poster if it were free.

Here is an image from an authentic poster below with the same names. Of course the signatures are going to vary, but you can see what I mean with my comparisons.

I agree with everything that you are saying Mike.  I just think that some of the autographs are relatively typical enough for JSA to have authenticated at least one of them.  Possibly the Kenny Baker autograph.

I suppose anything is possible, I would be very surprised if JSA authenticated any of those signatures but they did authenticate a George Lucas "To Scott" inscription as a "Tony Scott" autograph so perhaps Star Wars isn't their best area.  Either way the seller is still trying to use the sticker to sell forgeries, it's a good thing they did away with that stupid system.

Yes, it is a good thing.  It was before the dark times Mike.

Hi Mike, if you ever want to sell, please get back to me.
