Hi everyone.

Well again this is not my expertise but it has been offered to me in a trade and will consider it should you folks give it a thumbs up.  I don't know much about Floyd but in my opinion it looks like Waters, Mason and Gilmour are authentic and Wright was added by someone else but my eye is the last one to trust with this group.

Thoughts?

i'll defer to the more floyd-versed members of the group if they disagree, but i've been doing a TON of research lately on floyd autos, and none of those look like the legit sigs i've seen. i do hope i'm wrong though!

I think no. The Gilmour bad.

The Waters and Mason look consistent, but not the other two.

That's what I have been thinking as well.  The Waters does look authentic as with the Mason.  I wasn't sure on Gilmour but it looked innocent enough and the flow is there and has authority but that Wright bothers me.  I wonder if another band member signed for him.   Thanks for all the replies so far. I won't be taking this item until I get more feedback.

it's 100% a fake, not bad though. Beyond the signatures explain to me where you'd get all 4 band members in one place to sign in the same silver sharpie. Impossible. Real pink floyd items are 99.9% of the time a mess, the items are beat up, the pens are all different in terms of color and or tip thickness, some are begining to fade while the others are fresher etc... That is cause it takes 20 years to finish one if you could at all. David Gilmour might be in the top 2-3 hardest autographs to get in music and this has been the case for decades. 99% of everything you see in ebay is fake and that is why with the real ones dealers want a fortune for them.

now that i have my waters/wright dual signed dark side, i'm going to try my damnedest to get dave when he comes into LA for his next solo tour. it might be an exercise in futility, but i gotta try! if any pro level in person auto hounds wanna show me the ropes and give it a shot with me, we should plan a get together when the tour comes around!

I am sure you feel you have to try Jason however from what I know of him all your gonna do is piss him off, Watch your butt guy. Scott

well, i certainly don't wanna piss him off, but i'm sure i could take him! ;) (ok, maybe not the bodyguards).

i'm hoping i'd catch him in a good mood, and the fact that i'd only have the 1 item, don't mind a personalization at all, and me trembling beyond belief would show i'm just a lifelong fan and not some punk dealer. if i even ever get close enough to ask. oh well, we'll see what the world brings when he comes to town. if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. if not, i still love this LP almost as much as much wife!

From the teaching of master yoda Steiger it does not look like an authentic piece. Sorry. From at least the early 80's you could not get them all in the same room at gun point. Scott

Thank you N. Steiger.  I was hoping you would have some input.  I will be passing on this item.  Very valid points you made.
