What is up with Substance Collectables - Milton Luban

and like all good threads there are discussions witin discussions but this sub-discussion came up on a dealer Milton Lubin & http://www.substancecollectables.com/boxing_hall_of_fame___1

It appears that in 2003 although the Lubans were properly served but they failed to answer the complaint.

DECISION AND ORDER

MARRERO, District Judge.

By order dated July 22, 2003, the Court authorized entry of a default judgment in favor of plaintiffs Tiffany (NJ) Inc. and Tiffany and Company (collectively, "Tiffany") and against defendants Milton and Connie Luban and their company Luban Incorp. (collectively, the "Lubans"), the proprietors of an internet site selling counterfeit Tiffany merchandise in violation of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114(1), 1116(d). Upon consideration of Tiffany's written and oral evidence as to its damages, the Court awards Tiffany a judgment in the amount of $573,818.64.

On 17 May 2012 the guys who were building a file heard the following news : He received a letter from the lawyers of Prince Marketing and Super Star Greetings today. Telling him to remove all items and images of Joe Frazier, Micky Ward, Roy Jones Jr, Hulk Hogan, Chuck Zito, Vinnie Paz and the Super Star Greetings logo. This guy is total scum and is getting what he deserves.

I wont pu the photos yet I will leave them as aces in our hands till we have too but I believe there is enough here to make your minds up if this is true or not.

Recently I received some photos that appear to have been photoshopped and were alleged to be used by Milton Lubin to promote his product offerings. The one on the left is what has been alledged as the real one while the one on the right has been alledged as fake ones that were used as "proof" pictures.

Since I have no dogs in this fight and Milton Lubin is an AML member here as was pointed out in the intial thread above, it would be pertinent to have some feedback on these claims and allegations.

He used this website to get my name and threatened me as a fake cop.

Also what is interesting is I'm not the one who filed the police report. So how did this fake cop get my name. I don't have Facebook or anything like that. The only time I have publicly used my name is on this site. Which I became a member of last night. Clearly Mr. Luban saw what I posted and tried to scare me off.

Fake cop? If you have reason to believe this member put in writing that he was a cop and indeed wasn't then I would file a police report against him for impersonating a police officer. That is a pretty hefty crime. You may uncover the name Milton behind it too, who knows, but I wou challenge that cop.
Milton talks tough but he is nothing but a whimp.

Just remember when you are dealing with Milton everything is a game and not truthful. A cop of that manner never speaks that way on the web. Don't fall for it. Just tell Milton to jump in the lake.

Well he can visit me in Idaho any time he wants. He should probably know we have very lenient self defense laws. He knows where I live because he had to ship me the ball.

Also everyone should look up avs.forums. Just Google Milton Luban. In 2002 it says he scammed PedroV for 10k. Read his responses very sketchy and it took 7 months for Pedro to track Milton down.

If you look at his website it says he went to an accredited university. Of course he doesnt say which university, becaause then people could see he never attended it. So where did you graduate Milton? what year?

It took 7 mos to find Milton on the Tiffany case and Milton used another companies toll free number because Milton is an ALL AROUND CON MAN. He is a coward and does not know how to sell like a normal person. He always has a hidden agenda. If we can get something I'm Milyon that he faked being a cop online pbilicily then that is a federal offense. Based on the same Milton talk and words he uses I thought it wa Milton right away as I read it and laughed.
