What is up with Substance Collectables - Milton Luban

and like all good threads there are discussions witin discussions but this sub-discussion came up on a dealer Milton Lubin & http://www.substancecollectables.com/boxing_hall_of_fame___1

It appears that in 2003 although the Lubans were properly served but they failed to answer the complaint.

DECISION AND ORDER
MARRERO, District Judge.
By order dated July 22, 2003, the Court authorized entry of a default judgment in favor of plaintiffs Tiffany (NJ) Inc. and Tiffany and Company (collectively, "Tiffany") and against defendants Milton and Connie Luban and their company Luban Incorp. (collectively, the "Lubans"), the proprietors of an internet site selling counterfeit Tiffany merchandise in violation of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114(1), 1116(d). Upon consideration of Tiffany's written and oral evidence as to its damages, the Court awards Tiffany a judgment in the amount of $573,818.64.

On 17 May 2012 the guys who were building a file heard the following news : He received a letter from the lawyers of Prince Marketing and Super Star Greetings today. Telling him to remove all items and images of Joe Frazier, Micky Ward, Roy Jones Jr, Hulk Hogan, Chuck Zito, Vinnie Paz and the Super Star Greetings logo. This guy is total scum and is getting what he deserves.

I wont pu the photos yet I will leave them as aces in our hands till we have too but I believe there is enough here to make your minds up if this is true or not.

Recently I received some photos that appear to have been photoshopped and were alleged to be used by Milton Lubin to promote his product offerings.  The one on the left is what has been alledged as the real one while the one on the right has been alledged as fake ones that were used as "proof" pictures.

One recent excerpt from Jason;

Since I have no dogs in this fight and Milton Lubin is an AML member here as was pointed out in the intial thread above, it would be pertinent to have some feedback on these claims and allegations.

This scumbag does nothing on the up and up. Ebay needs to be notified he is back on their site selling. Oh, Milton loves to talk legal jargon about harassment and it's usually when you locate him or ask a question. I have had several people contact Milton in the past acting like an "uninformed buyer" which is Miltons favorite buyer and we just let him run his mouth and work his deals. All on a tape recorder. Checked my state laws on recording first and I'm just fine. Milton will be found everywhere he goes to sell on the net. Milton can't loose us.

This is the lovely email i received this morning. 

i suppose you are brad vincent. my name is deputy william miller with MGU (multi-agency gang unit) shelby county sheriffs department. i don't appreciate you wasting my time with your BS report with the fbi. yes, my field commander mentioned it popped up on ncic tonight. although it is absolutely none of your damn business, i'm going to tell you anyways. the memorabilia i am selling belong mostly to my lieutenant/best friend and forever my brother who had plans to open a sports memorabilia store after we got out of the marines. the reason there is no website is because there is no one to run it. he was killed in al anbar province on 19 november 2004 during our 2nd TOD. his wife was killed last year by a drunk driver. all the money from the memorabilia is going to their 8 and 10 year old daughters. if i get one more message from any of you little puke wanna-b e-bay police i'm going to teach you and what ever female what happens when you file a false report with law enforcement. i don't know what little geek group you belong to but i suggest you tell them to quit messaging me also. I would tell the punk that wrote this to "KISS MY ASS". If you don't like our policing and keeping rip offs off the internet then I could really care less. If you can't handle the scrutiny then go to the pharmacy and get a box of Kleenex. Sounds like you have a personal problem and a "big mouth".

You will see it is not me, and you can call and bother the real seller of your football. And you should call ebay and tell them about your problem.

Now in my opinion still don't believe what was emailed to you today, call up the MGU (multi-agency gang unit) shelby county sheriffs department. and ask to talk to William Miller, and verify the sale and the purchase and see if there is even a person who works their named William Miller. Then you will see if that answer was even true. But if it is, you still should apologies to me. on this forum!
