Offered from a friend I know, but the price is kind of too good for Madonna. Said they got it in person in 2005. Don't think it would be a fake, but could be manager. Thoughts?

Well, the letter formation doesn't look right. And from what I can see, it looks like there's some hesitation in that signature. Also, in the pic below, there's an authentic Madonna autograph from a Border's book signing she did in NYC in 2005. Now, she does have different styles. I'll show some more.

Here is an in-person from a guy I know in New York. This was signed in April 2003 at Tower Records in NYC during her American Life promo.

More about the one you show: there's like this little hump or squiggle after the "d" and then comes the "o" which should have come like right after the "d". And then it looks like there's only one "n" instead of two. It's like she spelled it "dona". Of course, more often than not she doesn't spell much of anything.
And here is one I have from the mid-90s.
