Hey, I am new to this site. I am debating on making a purchase on this Roger Waters autographed guitar. The guy says the guitar is a strat style Nomad which I also know nothing about. What do you all think? Is it real?

I've seen other examples of roger signing his last name like that .very very rushed.

After removing the screw I could definitely tell the pick guard was on the guitar when signed. I also found the guitar on Overstock for 75$. I will call PSA tomorrow to check on the sticker number.

Once you catch the seller lying it usually goes downhill from there.

The "R" with the screw off.

The top of the W looks like the sharpie follows along that piece as well. I think the signature was put in while pick guard on guitar. Least that's what my eyes have me believe.

Yea the signature follows the contours of the pick guard, but there aren't any markings on the guitar where the sharpie would have ran into or bumped against it. This leads me to think it was off.

Thanks for the input Paul and Rick. Paul it definitely looks rushed. I wish the PSA/DNA sticker number had something attached to it. I will know for sure tomorrow as I am call them to ask.

Let us know for sure.i agree ,this one is compelling to say the least.
I've had PSA numbers not show up before and they found it when I called on it. Hopefully they do on this.
I agree Rick,it's happened to me a couple of times also.psa 's data bank has a few glitches.
Psa actually made a big mistake on one of my floyd pieces.i own a signed animals album signed by waters and gilmour.the day I bought it to the psa booth at a memorabilia convention by me I also brought in a signed jimmy page zep 1 album to also get authenticated.they both passed but they mixed up the stickers on the pieces, they put the wrong stickers on them.floyds got zeps, and zeps got floyds.thank got the letters had the proper numbers.

That's good to know there is still hope. Not great to know PSA is that poorly run.

I contacted PSA and they found the number to match what it is and updated it! WOOT!
