Hi everyone,

I'm starting this discussion primarily to find out about international postage tips, but you can add whatever you like.

I've been doing the TTM thing for almost 9 years now. I have sent a few items overseas in the past, but now it seems like a large portion of the stars I want to try are in the UK and Europe. I have usually just sent photos with a return envelope (no postage) in the past when sending things international. I would say my international TTM success rate has been around 80% or more in the past, even without adding postage. But, I'm wondering if I should start adding something for the return postage? I went to my local post office the other day to try and see if there was anything I could include for return shipping, and they told me that they cannot add any sort of international stamps since the postage rates are determined at their local post offices overseas. So, the only thing I could think of would be to include some sort of check or international money order for what the return postage should be? I'm really hesitant to do this, though.

Anyway, I just wanted to see what your previous experiences have been trying TTM requests for international addresses, and what habits you all have formed doing this over the years that have yielded you success.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, Phillip. I didn't even know these things existed! I'll start trying them out and see if it can bump up my overall success rate some more.
