Last month, I asked for help on an MJ signed Thriller album that the seller said she got signed in-person by Michael at Tower Records in West Hollywood in 1982. Here's a link to the original discussion:

Thanks to everyone who offered their opinions. People on this forum are very helpful, and I think we are all very fortunate for that.

I guess, overall, there was a mix of opinions regarding authenticity. I have since purchased the album, and fortunately, I feel 110% certain it is real. Everything about the seller's story I was able to confirm, and she has a lengthy background in the music industry, not to mention I had about five conversations with her on the phone. She seems like a great person.

While looking for exemplars of Michael's autograph, I came across one in particular from a Nate Saunders auction that is nearly a perfect match to mine, particularly the "Jackson" part. Also note, the "M"s are nearly identical. I have provided a picture below, as well as a picture of mine.

On top of that, there were two more MJ autographs that apparently came in the same album of signatures that Nate Saunders offered. I'm posting these just to show how much MJ's autograph can vary, even near the same time frame.

Also, some were concerned about the circle-dotted "i". Well, I found a check signed by Michael were he also signed with a circle-dotted "i". I believe he did do this sometimes, though relatively rare.

Here is a very nice, authentic, vintage Michael Jackson signed photo. Once again, here is another exemplar where Michael used a "circle-dot" to dot his "i". He may not have done it often, but he definitely did it from time to time.

It would appear that Michael would dot his "i"s occasionally like this in the early-to-mid 80s when he had a little more time to sign. This was the case with my Thriller album when he sat down and signed it for an employee in Tower Records in 1982.
