Hi everyone!

Would appreciate your help on these two Harrison Ford signatures. Do you think they are genuine and if so, what would be a fair price to pay?

Thanks for helping!

As soon as I saw Jan's post, my first reaction is that it must be a preprint of mine. Then when I saw it wasn't, but it was as though someone tried to copy it, I sensed trouble. My knowledge of Harrison is minimal, but even I knew there was no way he was that consistent.

The week we started discussing this signature a number of Force Awakens images popped up on ebay with this signature listed as a preprint. They have disappeared for now, but I expect they will be back.

Here is another Harrison Ford with a Markus Brandes COA I have in my possession. Any thoughts on this one? I purchased this from a collector, not directly from Markus. Seems to be a number of well respected dealers who has sold or are selling questionable Ford signatures. Not sure how these highly experienced pros are missing the mark.

That one appears to be a standard in person signature and I would have said from the early 2000's era, which matches with the cert.

Cool! I own a good one! I know we discussed this one before, I did decide to purchase it anyway. Just thought this one would fit in this discussion well.

Congrats Joe!! :-)

Thanks! My first Harrison Ford. Yeah!! My goal is to find one of his classic early full signatures without taking out a small loan!

Score one for Markus Brandes too!!

Dear Rich

Thank you for inviting me to this discussion. Both Harrison Ford autographs had been obtained from a very well known German autograph collector who was very active in the 80s. P.G from Cologne. I have request further details for both autographs which he mentioned to me to have obtained by him personally. He is a very trustful person who was very well known to obtain autographs in the Cologne area in the 80s. Both autographs had been currently removed from sale and I will provide further informations until I could discuss with him.

This has been one my of favorite discussions on this site. People came together, calmly discussed the issue, and determined a resolution. Well done! I tip my hat to all parties involved.

If only Robert Sledz was here . . .

Don't even give him the time it takes to type his name. If Steve feels the need to reactivate his account, my best suggestion is to completely ignore his posts. He was just looking for attention, and we gave it to him.

I intend to post this message elsewhere on these boards as well.
