Opinions on this Daniel Craig/Olga Kurylenko signed 8x10 please

Hello,

I purchased this a couple of months ago and was wondering if I could get an opinion on whether it's genuine or not. My concern is that I've seen near identical pieces on the internet recently (same photo, same angled signatures signed in same colour markers). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get that from Germany?

I purchased it from an AFTAL dealer in the UK, but it looks to me that they may have got it from Bond Collectibles. If you look on their Ebay page and website it looks like they have multiple copies of this autograph, which is concerning me.

Well, we only know where you purchased ti so we wont make any assumptions as to the source. Maybe your AFTAL dealer supplies Bond Collectibles.

Here are some IP examples.

Recent IP Daniel Craig:

Older IP daniel craig (about a year ago or so):

Recent IP Olga:

I will let you make your own determination. They are certainly close but honestly I have never seen olga make a 'K' like that but her autograph has shortened to 'OK' now and you see what has become of Daniel Craig's autograph. He used sign full name. I think I have IP examplesof that but they are not on this computer.

The crowd rushed autograph is often a nightmare to authenticate.

AFTAL dealers are usually to be trusted, heck I am an AFTAL dealer. When it comes to these two it is vitally important to trust that your dealer knows what he/she is doing.

Thank you for getting back to me. It is very hard as a novice to detect what is real and what is fake on the market, which is why I buy my autographs from AFTAL dealers.

Just out of curiosity, if I hadn't mentioned that the autograph was purchased through an AFTAL dealer would your opinion as to its authenticity be any different? Would you be more likely to think it was not genuine, based solely on the signatures?

Thanks.

Its not always easy no matter your level of experience. Especially with modern crowd rushed scribbles. Obvious forgeries are fairly easy once you know what to look for but there are some talented forgers out there.

My opinion is always based on the signatures. Ultimately that is all that matters.

However, where you purchase an item can have some influence. For example, if you purchased it from a well known seller of forgeries that might make it easier to determine authenticity if one were not 100% sure.

In this case, I actually thought you got it from Bond Collectibles and was surprised that it was not the case.

You can also see how easy it would be for someone to fake Daniel's and Olga's signature and I am still not 100% convinced that yours are good based on a few things that bother me about them such as slant and letter formation.

Its always good to get multiple opinions. Hopefully someone else will add their opinion to this discussion as well.

I have contacted the dealer who I purchased the item from and they have offered me a refund, so I'm glad I did some research and am not sitting with what could be a forgery.

You've been a great help!

Hi Michael. I've recently joined on here because I wish to start a Bond collection. I thought BondCollectables was the way to go as his website seems legit, but after what you've said I'm kinda wondering. Has any of his stuff proven to be fake?
Thanks

Sorry, I know this was from an old thread!
