Greetings!

I am still relatively new to the forum, but I was wondering what classic/alternative rock artists have written any memoirs and have been know to sign them. I've recently added "Kisstory" and "Fandemonium" (Red Hot Chili Peppers) to my collection - both are great reads and the signatures are lovely, and I'd like to continue the collection. I know Brian Wilson and Springsteen are promoting memoirs right now, but what else is there? Thanks!

Mike love!

Oh yeah! I did see that; the price wasn't too steep if I recall either.

Loads of them actually... Seems publisher deals for official autobiographies are better nowadays than record deals as there are loads of them coming!

Just to name a few:

Metallica - So What! (around 2004)
Joe Perry - Rocks: My Life in and out of Aerosmith (book signing last year or so)
Nick Mason - Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd (book signing tour around 2005)
Ozzy Osbourne - I Am Ozzy (book signing tour in 2010)
Tony Iommi - Iron Man (book signing in 2011)
John Fogerty - Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music

I believe there was also a limited (1000 copies) signed edition of Eric Clapton's memoirs a few years ago...

Thanks, I'll have to check some of those out! I also read somewhere that Adrock and Mike D from the Beastie Boys will be releasing something in 2017.

Genesis books in the U.K. has a lot of rock stars signed books. You can also check Celebrity book signings and events website for up and coming book signings.
