I've had this ball for a long time.  About 15 years.  What do you think?  If you can give me some specific info as I am new to looking into authenticating the items I bought a long time ago.

Thanks

Fake unfortunately

All sigs or just Mantle or Williams?

every last one of them forgeries...sorry

Thanks for the response.  I'm curious, would one person do all the sigs?  Also, in regards to the Williams, I have some UDA Williams items and they look so close.  What am I missing?

The Williams lacks any fluidity, it was "drawn" very slow, and very carefully

What gives it away so quickly that it is drawn?  The darkness?

For those who study handwriting it's just easy to tell. Take a look at "illiams" specifically. Look how slow it's signed and how "carefully" it's signed. If you're signing your autograph, you don't sign this slow and careful.

Compare it to your UD balls, and you will see the UD are much more looser/quickly signed.

Thanks.  I'm way out of my league here.  I see it but very difficult.

It takes a long time to "train" your eyes, doesn't come overnight.

Those are forgeries...

they are all forgeries.  and well known ones that we see on a regular basis.

Jim here is another example of these typical "500 HR Club" forged balls, this listed by eBay seller promax1010
