AC/DC - Bon Scott & Angus Young signatures

Hi Everyone,

I purchased a signed AC/DC album that has been signed by both Bon Scott & Angus Young. I am fairly confident that these signatures are authentic and I have already got some opinions but I thought it might be wise to double check it.

I haven't had the chance to take my own photos but I have included a link to the old eBay listing from where I purchased it.

Admittedly the images in that listing are not the best and there is allot of reflection but in the flesh you can see the signatures okay. I'm also happy to take some photos of my own and upload them as well if that helps, just let me know.

Bon looks good.cant really see the Angus.

Thanks Paul :-) Yes I thought it was authentic as well but I just wanted to double check so thanks for your help. Yes it's hard to see Angus' signature because Angus signed on a dark part of the album on his jacket with a blue pen and the glare in the image doesn't help either. Later today I will take my own photo and upload it as well so as you can see the Angus signature as well as the Bon signature. Good to know you think the Bon signature is real, nice start :-)

Yes I own the album. I purchased it from a seller on eBay about a month or so ago. I'm from Australia but the seller I purchased it from lives in Liverpool, England.

I was certainly very happy about this purchase but I was still interested to hear others opinions on it's authenticity. You've further cemented my confidence that this is indeed the real deal. Cheers mate :-)

PS I've also got a guitar signed by the whole band (Young, Young, Johnson, Williams & Rudd) plus a signed Highway To Hell album signed by Angus Young. As you can see I love AC/DC lol :-)

Seen them a bunch of times over the last 30 years.i also own a couple of band signed items including a band signed album with Bon.

Cool :-) Yes I've seen AC/DC live 11 times but sadly I never got to see Bon live as I was just 8 years old when he died. My eldest brother saw him live though and he still taunts me about how good it was... lol:-) I'd love an album signed with the full line up from the Bon Scott era.

I once purchased a Highway To Hell album that had the full band signatures including Bon's but sadly it was a fake. It was the first and last time I'll make that mistake, I've learnt allot since then though.

Very cool, Bradley. The Bon looks good, but as Paul mentioned it's hard to see the Angus. Please post better pics when you actually have the album in-hand. Also, would love to see your signed guitar!

Yes I've had the signed album for over a month now. I'll definitely take some better photos than what's on that eBay listing and I'll post them later today. Cheers :-)
