Dear all
Is there anybody who tried to get AC/DC during this tour? Do they have a base here in Europe where they fly in to the show and out direkt after or do they stay in hotels in the area? Where would be best to try to gett hem?

Thanks in advance
Ulf

Hi Ulf. I've managed to get all but Cliff Williams during one of their recent European shows.

It's not an easy game with them nowadays. The easiest to get is definitely Angus Young (and his nephew, Stevie, who's only played on the latest record though). He often goes out of the hotel for a smoke or whatever... The rest is a bit harder... They usually would use a garage geting in/out of the hotel.

They don't have one pattern... Usually they spend at least one night in the city they play but it's not a guarantee... For some parts of the tour they are based in different city (for example, Prague for Dresden show, Dusseldorf/Cologne for some shows in Germany/Holland/Belgium).

Below you will find my recent AC/DC autographs. Write me a message in case of more questions. Good luck!

Thanks for the info!  Do they stay in the hotel the day before the show or the day of the show?  Just curious.

Many thanks Robert. They will play in Oslo Norway on Friday and Stockholm Sweden on Sunday. So I will be at the hotel ( the one they most likely will stay) from saturday morning.

Nice "Rock or Burst" autographs.

congratulatios for the autographs. I hope to get some the next year if they come to buenos aires

I spoke to some bikers before the Wembley show, Angus even signed the petrol tank of their motorbikes !

here in 2009 he signed but it was a lot of people so I could not get any autograph.

I did have a good weekend in Stockholm with AC/DC. I was outside the hotel when they arrived. I did focus on Cliff, Brian and Angus. As said before Angus is a great signer. He did sign everything although his security guy told every one that it was one per person. They all came in separate cars and at the same time so it was hard to get them all. But Angus came out first and said that he would start in one end and work through the whole cue. Cliff came second and started from the other end. Brian came third and started in the middle with me and my friend. So when he came to Angus end he stoped and walked in to the hotel. When Cliff came to the middle and met Angus he also stopped and walked in to the hotel. So there was not that many who got all three of them.

Here is a photo of my arm/hand and Brian Johnson signing my album. Also one with my album with Brian, Cliff and Angus.

That is cool. Read in the newspaper that there were around 50 people there and Angus signed for everybody. There were also photos of Stevie Young and some other dudes getting hassled by cops.

PS. Your photos don't work for me.

New attempt with the photos from Stockholm.

Looks great! Very nice autographs from all three. Have seen some abbreviated signatures from Brian Johnson recently.

Getting stuff signed by AC/DC has definitely gotten tougher with each tour. Worst of all it's now of course impossible to get Malcolm, and even getting Phil seems unlikely anymore.

I've just had my The Razors Edge vinyl autographed by Brian, Angus, Cliff and Chris Slade plus got Cliff's signature on my Rock Or Bust vinyl, which's been previously signed by other 3 guys earlier on this tour. It's not that easy with them nowadays... It depends how long they stay in your city. If it's a longish stay, you will get all guys eventually. If, as it was a case with my city, they stayed for under 24 hours, it's more tricky... They only signed once (Brian, Angus and Cliff) on their arrival. Brian signed just a few at their departure from the hotel but they were hurried by their management. Angus signed for many after the concert but other guys just ran away. I was probably the only one who got Chris Slade's autograph, whom, believe it or not, I've found the hardest to get from all the 5! Stevie Young also doesn't seem too keen on signing, maybe 'cause he know he's just a Malcolm replacement? BTW, another European leg of Rock Or Bust World Tour is rumoured for 2016 so there will definitely be more opportunities. I just hope they will play some indoor arenas as well!

Below are photos of my autographs - just wish I could get them signed by Malcolm and Phil respectively!
