ALL of eBay Seller sieger6466 items are fake, Obama ball I purchased failed JSA

I purchased a Barack Obama baseball from eBay seller sieger6466 and in the auction, he GUARANTEED the ball to pass PSA or JSA. Well, JSA failed it and I contacted him to let him know. At first, he said just to return the ball and he would refund me my money, but he refused to go through eBay's channels, he just emailed me his address. After several back and firths, he finally authorized the return through eBay.

However, the seller is now refusing to refund the item unless i produce a letter from JSA saying it did not pass. JSA wants me to pay for this letter (they didn't charge me an authentication fee when it failed). Look at ALL of his autographs he is selling. JSA said they were ALL likely fake. This guy is a crook! Please report his listings that you think are not real.

Please let me know what everyone thinks. I have had several sources tell me ALL his listings are likely forgeries and since he has so many, he is doing it knowingly. Please tell me eBay will side with me and make him either pay for the JSA letter or refund me my money.

eBay policy states that all counterfeit items do not need to be returned, but destroyed and the buyer's money refunded.

That B/O is not authentic....

All of his items: http://www.ebay.com/sch/sieger6466/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_i...

A Dahli Lama I've been told that is particularly bad he is selling: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dalai-lama-14th-Tibetan-signed-Official-Maj...

He has multiple Obama's, all worse than the ball I purchased above. Also has a terrible Bill Clinton. This guys is a crook!

This guy's listings are a joke. Don't pay for a letter. Keep pressing through the ebay system and you'll get a refund. Don't deal with or correspond with him outside the ebay system. That system protects you from shady sellers, so the fact he wants to stay out of it it says it all.

If a seller claims such a high-end item is an authentication slam dunk, then ask yourself why they don't they send it in themselves? For a very small upfront investment, they could charge a much higher premium price by listing it as already certed. It's because they already know what the answer will be.

Ryan, have you opened a case yet?

I have, just waiting for the option to escalate.

As William says, make sure you pay for insurance on the return to the seller. Once you have confirmation it's delivered you will get a refund. Also make sure you leave a negative feedback so others know about this

Just adding my two cents here because I rarely post but you should press getting your money back as I looked over all his listing and they don't look authentic at all. I have gotten Norm Reedus(Walking dead) and these are not even close. I have also gotten Bill Clinton on a book and that one is not even close.

Escalated the case to eBay. This is what I wrote:

The seller is requiring that I provide a rejection letter from JSA. JSA charges $25-50 for this. I am NOT paying for this. The seller can if he wants. The ball and ALL of his other listings are intentional forgeries. This was JSA's opinion as well as the community at Autograph Magazine Live. The seller is in violation of many eBay policies. I just want my money back please!

Exactly.

When purchasing ANYTHING on S***-BAY, ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS open up a case first and ask questions later. Especially when cheater f'ers write "NO REFUNDS" in their ads. LOL, now that's funny. First tip off is I would rarely if ever buy from a moron who actually thinks that if a customer isn't happy with the purchase, they can stick it to you with no refund. Har har harde har har. That type of mentality already shows you what kind of Jack A** he or she is. Not going to happen.

Paypal will automatically take the money out of the sellers accounts the second you open a case. Always escalate, try not to hate, get a rebate. Always send back priority and just pay for it yourself. Still takes about 10 days, but who cares at least it will be made good. Then Leave Negative feedback stating "Seller knowingly sells frauds, fakes and is a D***wad when you wish to return his pathetic forgeries". Good luck.

Ebay stopped taking the money out of Paypal when a case is opened a while ago and only takes the money out when 1) the seller refunds it or 2) the case is found in the buyers favor.

As far as shipping it back DO NOT ship it back on your own, once the case is escalated ebay will forward you a shipping label which they will require signature from the seller, this way ebay can track the package and as soon as its delivered the tracking will notify ebay automatically and the case will close out and you will get your money back.

I know all of this because I bought an item 2 months ago and the seller said he never received the item back which was tracked to him but because I didn't use ebays label I was out the money, what I had to do was file a fraud report online and forward it to ebay who refunded me with apparent insurance money. It was a headache and a half dealing with ebay one this.

Good stuff Ryan, hope you get a refund later today. Remember to leave negative feedback but simply something such as "Item was a terrible forgery and failed authentication"

Don't mention failing to give a refund or that you opened a case or ebay will remove the feedback
