Wow.  I sent in a PSA submission late July (PSA still hasn't sent back yet, I emailed them and a representative said she talked with her boss and that they would finally get it done and shipped Thursday; it's still not shipped according to their site...)

Anyway, in this shipment I have a Pacino from Mike Aring which failed a Quick Opinion.  If it passes PSA authentication, maybe that could be another incident and may prove that they are a little hard on stuff submitted via quick opinion.  I'll keep you updated when it arrives.

I should preface what I think by saying that I've gotten very few quick opinions myself. But, I have seen examples of plenty of items which have passed QO and plenty which haven't from people with no reason to lie. I think Quick Opinion is more scrutinizing than the actual letter of authenticity. That's got to be partly because they don't want to say something is likely genuine and then have to say it isn't authentic when they examine it in-person. With that said, I've seen some items which you can just take one glance at and know almost without a doubt they're authentic which QO has said likely not genuine to.
