Hi all,
First time poster here. Has anyone dealt with or heard good/bad things about Grandstand Sports or REAL DEAL Memorabilia? I am trying to acquire some Tom Brady memorabilia, and I was wondering what the reputations of those two companies were. Thanks!

Real Deal's website is atrocious, and the Aaron Rodgers pics look questionable at best. On the basis of the Packers items on Grandstand's website, I'd they their inventory looks okay, though there are two things I really don't like: 1) It's not clear on what type of authentication it comes with. I consider that important info in the rather expensive sports autograph world. 2) The prices seem too high in general. I can most certainly find much better deals on items I'm interested in.
For example:

Looks great and certainly appears to be authentic. But it comes from what signing, with what certification? That's not only important info, it should be really easy to provide given the limited number of very high profile private signings Rodgers has done since SB 45. This photo is also overpriced by at least a good $200.
Thanks Rich. Is this better? It has a CoA from Mounted Memories.

Looks good, but I can't vouch for the price ($400 seems like a lot for a mini) . . . I know Brady's expensive, but I'm not sure just how expensive is par for the course.
So even though you've never heard of supersportscenter.com, would you be okay with that item because of the Mounted Memories CoA?
With the way the sports market seems to work, if you have a legitimate MM, Steiner, Tristar, or UDA authentication (among other top nationally known names), the dealer itself is somewhat inconsequential. There's also a tendency for these "brand names" to charge a bit more. But they're also very widely known and respected, and, hence, likely a bit easier to resell down the road. Unless you have reason to believe that there is some other type of fraud going on - like countefeit MM COA's. Although I've never really come across such a thing.
Hey, FYI. I know there are some Pats fans on this forum who collect Brady and Gronk. They might have better inside word on where the best deals (and solid authenticity) are. I know for Aaron Rodgers and most Packers items, local dealers like Waukesha Sports Cards offer a better range of items (and better deals) than big names like Mounted Memories and Steiner.
