Hi people,

You know how you can archive images (e.g. 8x10 images), is there any way you can do the same thing with CD'S using similar methods as I am keen to add protection to one of my valuable CD'S.

The CD itself is in a case with a covering (the covering has been signed).

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Rob

Seems like I stumbled upon some mylar sleeves specifically for CDs/CD covers on ebay.  That might be exactly what you're looking for.

This looks like it was designed for the CD itself, but if the book/cover fits in, it's probably exactly what you're looking for as far as store an autographed CD or CD cover.

Hi Rich

Thanks for your help - I have just invested in an acid-free document box which I hope will protect the autograph cd for the time being.

Hi Rich,

Since there isn't any viable option on archiving CD's of any type (except framing), I have gone down the acid-free path and kept the CD in an acid-free box for now.

Rob

I keep the signed CD covers inside Polypropylene bags (archival safe), and these inside albums that hold about 40 pages.

Unfortunately, my supplier doesn´t have special Propylene bags for CD covers yet, so I use these ones:
