hi everyone!

i'm brand new to this forum and a HUGE robin williams fan. i saw this auction, which is now over, on ebay, and the seller told me he'd be relisting more cards. here's the auction: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/261617227605?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_t...

in your opinions, are these autographs real? i've done some research, and like i said, i'm new, so i'm completely confused as to the authenticity. any opinions you can give me would be greatly appreciated. i would hate to unknowingly buy a fake since i'm such a fan.

thank you! :)

EDITED: so the seller is stil insisting that these were done in the late 80's at the comedy store in west hollywood. is that possible at all?

These look like secretarial signatures and nothing like his in-person signatures. I'd leave them alone.

I have 3 of his autographs with PSA certificate and they all look different from your item. So I think this item is faked.

I think everyone of those cards are forgeries. Looks like somebody just signed a bunch of cards and went on a money grab to capitalize on his death. The secretarial sigs that were sent back through the mail were much neater than these.

rick, thank you for your help. i have another couple of requests in the forum. if you have time, might you look at them?

it makes me heartsick that someone would do that. :'(

A lot of his autographs on eBay are his secretarial through the mail signatures which some are very close to his authentic and some don't so it depends. That's really all I know. Unfortunately I'm not an expert on his signature.

To me these look definite secretarial and some way off his in person signature Robin signed a lot but even he had his limits of 3 or 4 per person.

Those are 100% secretarial signatures or either flat out forgeries of secretarials.  He may actually believe they are authentic because he most likely got them via a TTM request but I have sent TTM's of his to PSA before and they failed.

Either way, absolutely no way those were signed by Williams
