Does anyone know anything about this seller?  I don't believe I've never heard of them before.

Steve i agree with you 100 percent. Almost all of the items on that site look like they have been signed by the same person. In fact, i am wagering it can be proven pretty easily. The same markers are almost always used, and the signature style looks the exact same for nearly 95 percent of the items.

All it will really take is comparing a dozen or so photographs and comparing the characteristics, and i bet that it will be plain to see that the same person signed most of these pieces.

Not to mention some just being ugly ugly forgeries.

sting from this person is highly highly suspect...

@ Rich

does this look real??

as you know her signature well [i cannot comment] - this is not from autographedmusicphotos.com but from another source

No.  I've seen that one umpteen times on ebay, and it really doesn't resemble any version of her signature.

did not look ok to me as well and glad i got your opinion. went unsold a few times!

Most of the ones you'll see on Ebay at any given time are fake.  I think there may be only 2 or 3 authentic ones for sale on Ebay at this time.

confirmed 100% write-off

he says Knopfler signed in 2009 and others in 2011 - while the photo proof shows same person wearing same shirt and not even close to any semblance of what is selling and what is being signed...

Knopfler is a good fake though but not original as i have IP Knopfler signatures.

The name calling is just a pathetic attempt we have all seen before. Tony joins up to this site specifically to stick up for this seller. How many times a week do we see the owners of these companies joining up and commenting in favor of bad forgeries. This seller is selling items that are completely highly questionable. No amount of name calling will change that. And just for the record, what about my statement could be considered pig headed??? I consider being pig headed to be either stupid or stubborn or even possible argumentative. But my statements were neither.

You joined AML specifically to leave the comment you did on this site in favor of a dealer selling likely bad items. You may or may not be associated with them, something this site sees time and time again, and thats why i asked. And to be frank, its not like you would admit it if you were associated with them, b/c it would make you look horrible if you said yes. I certainly am not being stubborn or uneducated as i am intelligent enough to see that this seller is selling alot of bad items in my opinion, not just one or two. And the members who have all commented here, save you, have agreed to the same.

This seller is putting out questionable items to the public in my opinion. Every auto i looked at and was familiar with looked bad. So either this seller is supplying solely your friends with 100 percent legit items every time and denying the good items to the public, or you arent being truthful. I could be wrong, but i tend to think the latter.

The hit an run comment shows that they knowingly are selling fakes and now are covering their tracks. The good thing about the internet is this topic will show up for a ling time when searching their website autographedmusicphotos.com/ and the word sells Forgery Fake counterfeit autographs this website will pop up in the results sooner or later.

i suggest everyone take a few minutes to report their ebay listings and let ebay decide whos right.

I don't know the full story of how this seller operates, other that he operates out of East Midlands, UK.  The scouting report I have is that while he may actually get some items in person, most of them are hand forged "copies" mimicking the original signature(s).

And it would appear that there is proof of this "copycat" forgery style out there.  I actually posted these on the ther thread without initially noticing the smoking gun.  Two, slowly drawn, near identical forgeries of her now-common quick, rushed style.  A style that is never duplacted due to how sloppy it is.

Looks like ebay agrees since most if not all of their auctions have been shut down for being fakes. Their ebay Id is oilcitynights

I noticed some of their old completed auctions disappearing yesterday afternoon.
