I read with great interest the discussion on signed autograph first day covers in this forum, and am looking for some specific recommendations as to who to contact to advise them of the availability of large quantities of 1970s topical first day covers, all with great artwork, available to notables who can use them to sign autographs, or for presentations, or signed gift cards.

Numerous topics available, with multiple quantities of each (e.g., I always thought the 1971 Honoring Ernie Pyle, WWII Frontline Reporter, would make a great autograph card for some news journalist). Images of the inventory are at http://pinterest.com/fyis/ .

Thanx in advance for your assistance.

I use scrap booking stickers to tie the FDC with the topic of type of autograph I want signed. Say I got cactus stamped FDC's, I add Western Stickers to get Western Actor's signatures on them. American Flag stamped FDC's with Marine logo to get a Marine MOHR & similar efforts. I bought 300 1964 Boston Canceled JFK FDC's for about $44.00 with no artwork & added "White House" or "Washington D.C." stickers I got cheap off Ebay to get JFK assassination figures on them. Here's a Stripper that worked at Jack Ruby's club.

Here's an example of the stickers
